Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Store REVEAL – Tons of New Merchandise Impresses!

Tiana's Bayou Adventure is opening in a few short weeks at Disney World! Previews are underway for the ride (see our first reaction to Tiana's Bayou Adventure here) and a new merchandise shop, “Critter Co-Op,” is preparing to open. This is replacing the former Briar Batch shop in Frontierland adjacent to the ride. The story of the shop is that it was founded by the musical critters of the bayou that Tiana got to know.

We got the chance to see the new Tiana's Bayou Adventure Critter Co-Op store during a visit to Magic Kingdom! Keep reading for more details and a look inside the new store.

A Look Inside Critter Co-Op at Magic Kindom

Critter Co-Op offers an extensive collection of merchandise that focuses on different themes from the attraction and from Disney's Princess and the Frog film.

In the shop, you'll find cooking supplies, kitchenware, and spices. Some of this builds on what we have already seen at Disneyland in the New Orleans Square shop but is more extensive.

Different Tiana looks are featured in the shop, from her ride outfit to the classic gown in the film. At Critter Co-Op, guests can shop for attraction-specific merchandise or merchandise that is inspired strictly by the film.

A notable collectible you'll find here is the water tower from Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which you can see below. It features characters from the ride including Tiana, Naveen, and Louis as well as the musical critters of the bayou.

The firefly collection is featured as a bit of a centerpiece in the store, and it is clear Disney is hoping these will be a hit with guests that they can carry around in the parks and interact with.

The cute Interactive Firefly can sit on your shoulder and will light up whenever they are near another firefly.

At Critter Co-Op, you'll find a wall of Tiana's Bayou Adventure-inspired headbands:

The theming in the store works so well and lines up perfectly with the attraction. There are little details everywhere featuring the critters in the ride and Tiana's story.

We predict that the critter stuffed animals are going to be popular, as people seem to be drawn to these critters instantly. More merchandise featuring these characters could be a hit!

On June 28, the opening date of Tiana's Bayou Adventure (before the shop opens), the Tiana's Bayou Adventure collection will first debut at the Emporium before making its way over to the Critter Co-Op shop. We will likely see the same merchandise come to the shops at Disneyland that are currently under construction when they open.
