Walt Disney World just made major changes to three popular restaurants in Magic Kingdom, including new menu items along with more plant-based options. Some of these restaurants have been needing these changes for some time.

Be Our Guest and Other Favorites Add New Items
Be Our Guest is one of the popular castle dining experiences in Magic Kingdom. This experience is inspired by Beauty and the Beast as guests get the chance to dine inside the iconic castle from the film. This is also one of the only times guests can meet the Beast as he interacts with guests briefly during the experience.

Disney has added three new dishes to this popular restaurant menu, including:
First up is the Beef Bourguignon en Croute, which is slow-cooked in red wine, with potatoes, root vegetables, smoked bacon, and bone marrow.
Second is the new Truffle Pomme Frites with parmesan cheese and black garlic-truffle aioli.
And the last dish added is the Lobster Macaroni au Gratin with sauce Mornay.
The Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom also received new menu items, including this new Steamboat Willie Milk Shake with hand-dipped cookies ‘n cream ice cream topped with whipped cream, cookies and cream churros, sugar cookie, and a cherry.
The Plaza Restaurant is located between Tomorrowland and Main Street, U.S.A., and serves salads, sandwiches, burgers, and ice cream fountain treats.
Also new is this Chilled Shrimp Wedge Salad with hard-boiled egg, avocado purée, tomatoes, cracked pepper, and Thousand Island dressing.
And lastly, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant also received new menu items. First up is a new salad called Insalata della Casa featuring greens, radicchio, tomatoes, cucumber, pepperoncini, tossed in balsamic vinaigrette.
Next is the new Lasagna alla Bolognese featuring meat sauce layered with mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, pecorino Romano.
And a new plant-based option added is the new Eggplant Parmigiana featuring lightly breaded eggplant baked in Tony’s Marinara Sauce with plant-based mozzarella served with spaghetti.

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant has been in need of a new menu shakeup, and these new dishes help expand the offerings at this Lady and the Tramp-inspired restaurant.
