Disneyland Announces 2026 Halloween Character Dining Dates and Details

Meeting characters is a Disney staple, whether you are at Disneyland or Disney World. Those characters are available to meet in certain areas of the parks, but there is another great way to meet them outside the parks. Character dining at Disneyland allows guests to meet a variety of popular characters during the course of their meal.

In recent years, these character dining restaurants have introduced seasonal events with themed costumes for the characters. Two restaurants at Disneyland have announced the dates for their fall character dining meals, so keep reading to see which restaurants they are and what to expect during those events! These experiences are a great way to get into the Halloween spirit during your visit. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including new rides and additions to Disneyland in 2027 and what overlooked Disney makeover experience might be preferred to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

While there are always characters at Storyteller's Cafe, a few seasonal changes to those meet and greets will take place soon. Firstly, Mickey's Autumn Adventures Breakfast & Brunch will take place from August 21 to November 17. With this change, characters will be dressed in fall-themed outfits during breakfast and brunch times, as the name would suggest. There will also be “seasonal touches” around the restaurant, in the form of decorations and some autumnal dishes.

Of course, with fall comes Halloween, and Storyteller's Cafe has planned accordingly. Beginning the same day, August 21, Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween Dinner will take over the restaurant during the dinner service. During this Halloween celebration, guests are “encouraged to dress up as their favorite forest friend” alongside the characters. This theme runs for a shorter time, ending on October 31.

Bookings are now open for the experience. Last year, the price for Mickey's Autumn Adventures Breakfast was $69 per adult (ages 10 and older) and $39 per child (ages 3 to 9), and Mickey's Autumn Adventures Brunch was $74 per adult (ages 10 and older) and $39 per child (ages 3 to 9). Prices do not include tax and gratuity.

Last year's, Clarabelle's Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween Dinner cost $79 per adult (ages 10 and older) and $42 per child (ages 3 to 9), not including tax and gratuity. We do not yet have the pricing for 2026 at the time of writing.

Fall Character Dining at Goofy's Kitchen

Sign for Goofy's Kitchen restaurant

Goofy's Kitchen is also a buffet-style restaurant located at the Disneyland Hotel, where guests can meet Chef Goofy as a welcome, and can meet Minnie Mouse, Chip, Dale, and Pluto while enjoying their meals. The breakfast and brunch menus include fresh-baked pastries, fruit, and omelets, while the dinner menu has many more savory options.

Goofy's Kitchen Celebrates Halloween is the seasonal fall dining experience coming to Goofy's Kitchen that will run from August 21 to October 31. During the meal, all five characters will be in costumes for photos, and the restaurant itself will receive some new Halloween-themed decor. During this event, as with any seasonal event, there will be new seasonal menu items added to the buffet.

Both restaurants will also have holiday-themed character dining experiences when the time rolls around, but there have not been any dates released for that quite yet. Goofy's Kitchen will have a springtime celebration after the holiday one. Nothing like that has been revealed for Storyteller's Cafe, but based on what we have seen in the past, there will likely also be a springtime event at Storyteller's Cafe.

Bookings are now open for the experience. Last year, the price for breakfast was $69 per adult (ages 10 and older) and $39 per child (ages 3 to 9), and brunch was $74 per adult (ages 10 and older) and $39 per child (ages 3 to 9). Dinner cost $79 per adult and $42 per child (ages 3 to 9). We do not yet have the pricing for 2026 at the time of writing.
