2. EPCOT’s Rare “Festival Free” Period
After the EPCOT International Flower & Garden ends June 1, EPCOT enters a lengthy stretch without a major festival until late summer.
This means that there will be no festival taking place at EPCOT until the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival starts on August 27. This is pretty rare for EPCOT, as usually there is a smaller break in between festivals than this.
3. Virtual Queue No Longer Needed for Bluey

The virtual queue in place for Bluey’s Wild World at Animal Kingdom will be in place through June 1st, and after that date, the attraction will be available for all guests during operating hours.
This shift is unlikely to reflect a decline in popularity. Instead, it is more likely the result of the challenges of using a virtual queue for an experience that requires multiple steps to access, as guests must first travel to the area by train.
4. H20 Nights Begins at Typhoon Lagoon

H20 Nights returns to Typhoon Lagoon on June 2, 13, 19, and 27. Walt Disney World H20 Glow After Hours is a special ticketed event that takes place at Typhoon Lagoon.
These after-hour events take place after the water park closes for the day and include entertainment, special food, and access to all the attractions.
5. Multiple Disney World After Hours Events
H20 Nights isn’t the only park running After Hours events. Disney After Hours returns throughout June, with events scheduled at Magic Kingdom on June 1, 22, and 29, Disney’s Hollywood Studios on June 3, 10, 17, and 24, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom on June 11 and 18.
6. Gay Days Event Takes Place

Gay Days will be hosting an event for the LGBTQIA+ community to enjoy the Walt Disney World parks, taking place June 4-June 7, 2026.
This is an extremely popular event that can draw nearly 200,000 people to the Orlando area. The celebration moves through the parks on Thursday at Animal Kingdom, Friday at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Saturday at Magic Kingdom, and Sunday at EPCOT.
