Appearances by Angel, Stitch’s Girlfriend

Angel, aka Experiment 624, will make her Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party debut in 2026! Very popular in recent merchandise, Angel first appeared in Lilo & Stitch: The Series in the 2000s as Stitch’s love interest.
At Walt Disney World, Angel is a rare character whose appearances are usually limited to special events like runDisney races and Disney Vacation Club parties. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will mark her most publicized appearance ever at Disney World.
Angel will join Stitch and Lilo for a new dance party at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. Stitch will occasionally retrieve a new costume from a wardrobe trunk, prompting the dance party to change genres throughout the night.
Scavenger Hunt at EPCOT

A scavenger hunt called Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit will return to EPCOT from August 27 through November 21, 2026, while supplies last. The activity is part of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
Guests can purchase a map for $12 at Creations Shop, EPCOT’s main gift shop, and search the park for hidden pumpkins. When guests complete the map, or even if they don’t finish, they can visit a designated location to redeem a prize, which is usually a small figurine or kitchenware item.
Even if you don’t participate in the formal scavenger hunt with the map, it’s still fun to keep your eye out for pumpkins throughout EPCOT.
Disney Villains on Trick-or-Treat Trails
During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 at Magic Kingdom, guests can see Disney Villains while trick-or-treating at some of the park’s treat trails. Disney has not announced which Villains to expect or where to see them.
Villains will likely appear at a distance rather than posing for photos with guests individually. This has been a popular approach for Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure, and it’s interesting to see it adapted for the East Coast.
Disney tested this technique with a few treat trails in 2025, but didn’t advertise the character appearances. As such, when trying to track down the “surprise” characters, none of my treat trail visits coincided with their undisclosed schedules. With Disney giving a heads-up about the 2026 characters, their schedules might be more consistent.
In the long term, fans of the Disney Villains can look forward to Villains Land, currently under construction at Magic Kingdom.
Merchandise Reveals
Disney drops special Halloween merchandise in full force from August through October. For 2026, guests can expect a Halloween collection at all four theme parks and Disney Springs, as well as select merchandise exclusive to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom.

This year’s party-exclusive merchandise features cute illustrations of Disney characters in a black-and-orange color palette. I spy the Headless Horseman!

The overall Halloween collection includes a new Minnie ear headband with an adorable all-over print and a hocket jersey, among other items. The annual Halloween merchandise is usually found in each park’s biggest gift shop: the Emporium at Magic Kingdom, Creations Shop at EPCOT, Mickey’s of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Discovery Island Trading Company at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. At Disney Springs, look for it in World of Disney.

Halloween Bar at Disney Springs

Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Bar debuted last year as a seasonal overlay of Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs. Disney confirmed the Halloween version will return for 2026.
The popular dining location is named after the pilot from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Its spooky counterpart features kitschy mid-century Halloween decorations and specially themed drinks and appetizers.

Disney has not announced 2026 dates for Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Bar. At the end of the year, the space usually becomes Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar.
Seasonal Character Meal

Minnie Mouse hosts a character meal at Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, serving a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. The restaurant rotates through five different themes throughout the year, with its food, décor, and character costumes matching the theme.
Minnie’s Halloween Dine will return for 2026. Disney has not announced exact dates.
The lineup of characters at Minnie’s Halloween Dine usually includes Minnie Mouse as a witch, Mickey Mouse as a vampire, Donald Duck as an astronaut, Goofy as a cowboy, and Pluto wearing a bat collar.
Minnie’s Halloween Dine is a great way to meet characters in Halloween costumes without tracking them down individually at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Signature Entertainment Returning
All the classic entertainment performed during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom will return in 2026.
This includes:
- Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade
- Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, the castle stage show
- Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, the fireworks show
Disney debuted the parade in 2005, the stage show in 2015, and the fireworks show in 2019. They are all staples of the event at this point, though I do wonder if Disney internally discusses the pros and cons of sticking with the same entertainment year after year.
