Disneyland just announced five new Star Wars novelties and popcorn buckets to join the other popcorn buckets at Disneyland! The lineup this year is especially great, we anticipate many of these items will be in high demand. Some of these popcorn buckets are also hinted at coming to Disney World to join their lineup of popcorn buckets.

New Star Wars Popcorn Buckets & Novelties Coming Soon
Each year Disney goes all out for May the 4th including brand new Star Wars merchandise collections and the sold out, separately ticketed Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite. This spring is especially important for Star Wars at Disneyland as we are getting closer to the changes coming soon to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Disney has decided to roll back the timeline of part of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge by several decades, shifting the land into the era of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. This change is only Disneyland specific as the Walt Disney World version of the land will be staying the same but some of these items are being teased as also coming to Disney World in the future.
These timeline changes are coming April 29th to Disneyland. To coincide with both the timing of this date shift, May the 4th, and Star Wars Nite, here is the new lineup of Star Wars popcorn buckets and novelties.
Jabba’s Sail Barge Bucket

First up is what I believe will be the most popular popcorn bucket, the Jabba’s Sail Barge Bucket. This popcorn bucket is modeled after the sail barge in Return of the Jedi. The popcorn bucket features light up elements and hidden characters.

Salvaged Protocol Droid Bucket
The Salvaged Protocol Droid Bucket features light up eyes and closely resembles C-3PO’s disassembled state in The Empire Strikes Back.

Bantha Sipper
This Bantha Sipper was first revealed at Destination D23. The design features the Bantha’s shaggy coat and horns plus built-in sound effects.

Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader Lightsaber Swizzle Sticks
Also coming to Disneyland are these rechargeable Lightsaber Swizzle Sticks which can be served submerged into sodas or slushies. There will be a green lightsaber for Luke Skywalker and red for Darth Vader.

Finally, Oga’s Cantina will be getting a new DJ R-3X Ceramic Mug. This new mug featuring everyone’s favorite DJ droid will be available April 28th.
