Having a full day at a Disneyland is important to guests. It means that park-goers can enjoy everything Disneyland has to offer to its full potential. With the upcoming spring break crowds, maximizing your time in the park is more important than ever. Having the chance to stay late at the parks can be a game-changer, especially with a proper nighttime strategy, as it allows you to get on the most popular rides with minimal wait times.
With that in mind, there are some after-hours events coming up that cause the park to close early, which can catch some guests off guard. This may disrupt your evening plans, if you don’t know when these early closures occur. Keep reading to see which days in March and April the parks will close early! At Mickey Visit, we cover all of the latest Disney news, like new perks for Magic Key holders and Disney World’s new menu changes.

Disneyland Early Park Closures in March

Disneyland hours shift throughout the year. The earliest closures typically happen because of an after hours special event. These can either be events open to guests or special cast member offerings. For instance, each year they close a park early for a cast member service celebration for those celebrating certain service anniversaries. The majority of the early closures are from Disneyland After Dark special events. These are separately ticketed events built around different themes.
Keep these dates in mind when selecting which days you are spending at Disneyland Park vs Disney California Adventure.

Be prepared for a busier Disney California Adventure park in the evening once Disneyland has closed and people with park hopper tickets move over to that park.
