A number of Disneyland Resort rides are scheduled to close for refurbishment in February 2026, including a few classic favorites that are currently unavailable while they undergo routine maintenance. There are typically more ride closures early in the year as Disneyland takes advantage of this less crowded time before Spring Break to get any necessary work done.
Below are the dates you need to know if you are planning a visit soon! It’s always important to stay up to date on current closures, so you’re not caught off guard during your visit. Keep in mind that refurbishment timelines are always subject to change. It’s possible that some attractions could reopen sooner or later than listed. At Mickey Visit, we cover the latest Disney news, like the return of a limited-time Lunar New Year celebration and updated info on rules for re-entering attraction queues in theme parks. You can see the list of the previous January Disney closures here and a list of new Disney announcements here. Another new ride closure update was added. We now have the reopening date for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and two new ride closures.

Jungle Cruise will close for refurbishment on February 17, 2026. While Disney originally scheduled Jungle Cruise to reopen just a few days later, it later removed this reopening date, leaving the refurbishment open-ended. We do not yet have a reopening date listed for the ride.
Space Mountain will be closed for refurbishment from February 23 through February 26, 2026. It reopens on February 27, 2026. This closure is expected to share overlap with the major closure listed below.
Edelweiss Snacks will be closed from February 9 through February 26, 2026, reopening on February 27, 2026.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Disneyland Closures in February 2026
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has a couple of closures of popular offerings and a big closure continues.
Oga’s Cantina also closed on January 20 for refurbishment. Disney has not announced a reopening date for this family-friendly, space-themed bar.
We now have the news that Oga’s Cantina will be reopening on March 14, 2026. You can see our reopening announcement and details about the closure here.
While nothing has been formally announced, this closure could be related to the sweeping timeline changes launching throughout Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge this spring. When Oga’s reopens, we, the guests, will visit the titular proprietor’s establishment shortly after she opens for business rather than generations later. How exactly this narrative change will present itself within the bar remains to be seen, but Disney has dropped some hints.

Additionally, Jat Kaa’s Coolers: J1-KC, the droid vehicle selling Cola-Cola products at the Resistance Clearing in Galaxy’s Edge, went down for maintenance on January 20 and will be back serving beverages starting February 15.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance closed on January 20 for an unspecified period of time. Note: This refurbishment is only for routine maintenance and unrelated to the recently announced expanded timeline for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. When Rise of the Resistance reopens, it will be the same ride experience as before.
There is currently no reopening date announced for Rise of the Resistance. That being said, it would make sense for the ride to at least be ready in time for the launch of these new changes and the first Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite of 2026, which takes place on April 28.
Update: See all details about Disneyland’s Rise of the Resistance reopening here.
Disney California Adventure Attractions Closed in February 2026
Grizzly River Run at Disney California Adventure closed on January 5, 2026, for routine winter-season maintenance, as many water attractions do at Disney theme parks this time of year. We now know that the ride will reopen on March 22, 2026.
Incredicoaster closed for refurbishment on January 5, 2026, and will reopen on February 6 after its multi-week closure.
Jumpin’ Jellyfish will close on February 23, 2026, reopening on March 6. This is one of the few remaining rides largely unchanged since Disney California Adventure’s opening day. We think it’s among the few of the park’s rides you can skip.
Just outside of Disney California Adventure, we now have a reopening date for the Napa Rose Restaurant. This is the fanciest restaurant at Disneyland. Located inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, the restaurant is set to reopen on February 6, 2026. You can see all the details on the Napa Rose changes here.
