Disneyland Will Host 2026 Super Bowl Winners Parade and ESPN Live Broadcast Event After the Game

Updated February 8, 2026 – Each year, it is a tradition for the MVP of the winning Super Bowl team to declare they are visiting Disney and make an appearance in the park closest to where the game is held the next day. Last year, Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles appeared at Magic Kingdom, and in the two years prior, Kansas City Chiefs MVP Patrick Mahomes appeared at Disneyland. We now have an update after the Super Bowl game on who will be in attendance and the time of the parade.

This year, Super Bowl LX will be held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and the winning MVP player will be headed to visit Disneyland the day afterward. We will share everything you need to know about the 2026 Super Bowl parade at Disneyland and details confirmed by Disney! Plus, a special event from ESPN. At Mickey Visit, we share all of the latest Disney news, including how Josh D’Amaro built the irresistible case to lead Disney as the next CEO, and our review of a major overhaul of a Disneyland restaurant.

Disneyland Super Bowl Parade

In this year’s Super Bowl game, the Seattle Seahawks face off with the New England Patriots. The MVP of the winning team will say the iconic line, “I’m going to Disneyland!” and then make an appearance in a special cavalcade at the park.

Each year following the Super Bowl game, there is an iconic commercial where the MVP of the winning team looks into the camera and says that they’re going to Disneyland or Disney World, then appears in a celebratory cavalcade along the parade route the following day. There is a really interesting origin story and history behind this iconic phrase that you can read about here.

The Super Bowl takes place this year on Sunday, February 8. Disneyland has already confirmed that it will host the winner of the Super Bowl on Monday, February 9th. The parade will take place at 1:15 pm on Monday, February 9.

The parade will feature Seahawks QB Sam Darnold and MVP Kenneth Walker III. They will both lead a cavalcade down Main Street, U.S.A.

After the game, ESPN will immediately shift to coverage of the 2027 Super Bowl as part of a 24-hour event called “The Handoff.” This starts at the site of Super Bowl LX, then continues with ESPN broadcasting live from Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland on Monday.

The broadcast will include First Take with Stephen A. Smith, multiple editions of SportsCenter, NFL Live, and a live interview featuring a player from the Super Bowl LX champions. ESPN will also welcome and honor a player from the Super Bowl LX championship team.

Looking at the last Super Bowl MVP appearance at Disneyland as an idea of what to expect, there was a processional down the length of the parade route from “it’s a small world” to Main Street. Patrick Mahomes, the most recent Super Bowl MVP to appear at Disneyland, rode on a float with Mickey and Minnie in a cavalcade that featured several classic characters and dancers in football-themed outfits.

If you are planning on seeing the Super Bowl parade in person, you will need valid theme park admission and a park reservation. At the time of writing, theme park reservations are still available for regular ticket types and all Magic Key passes, but we expect this will change as we get closer to the time. You should not wait to book your theme park reservation.

We suggest getting to the park as early as you are able to stake out a spot. We were there for this most recent cavalcade and arrived at Main Street at 9 am to get a good spot to watch, but Cast Members kept us moving until 12:30 pm. At that time, we were allowed to stake out a spot for viewing the parade at 2 pm.
