Disneyland Updating Toy Story Midway Mania for 70th Anniversary

This summer Disneyland kick off the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the resort which runs May 16, 2025 through summer 2026. This new celebration features the return of the popular Paint the Night parade, a new World of Color show, decorations throughout the park, and a new discount ticket offer.

But that's not all, as part of this celebration Disney is introducing changes to some attractions as a way to celebrate the anniversary in fan favorite rides.

Toy Story Midway Mania is one of these rides receiving changes that pay homage to the celebration!

Guests can look for nods to the 70th anniversary in the Toy Story Midway Mania games themselves! In the concept art above, this is highlighted with the targets Woody and Buzz are holding that say 70. I imagine we'll see more additions to the ride that tie into the anniversary. This is a pretty easy change to make behind the scenes since this ride is screen based.

There was no clear indication on what date the ride will change but I imagine it will align with the start date of the 70th anniversary on May 16, 2025.
