RARE Disney Experience Ticket to Tour Disney Studio Lot in Burbank, California On Sale Now

For avid Disney fans, it's always a treat to get a glimpse into the magic behind some of the most beloved Disney stories and the history of the company that brought them to life.

A special offering presented by D23, The Official Disney Fan Club, is now available that gives members the rare opportunity to do just that with an exclusive tour of The Walt Disney Studios. There are different levels of D23 memberships, but getting a General membership is free, so anyone can enjoy this tour.

The experience includes a two-and-a-half hour walking tour of The Walt Disney Studios, which will include a visit to Walt Disney’s office suite, the Walt Disney Archives, and Legends Plaza, with a special experience available on weekend tours! Keep reading for more details.

Walt Disney Studios Tour Details

This series of tours for D23 Members will be offered during May and June of 2024.

Hosted by a VIP tour guide, guests will be able to see the original Animation Building where iconic films like Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, and The Jungle Book were made. You'll also be able to see the soundstages that were used for the filming of iconic live-action movies like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Mary Poppins, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

As part of the tour, guests will be able to explore the Legends Plaza, a space that honors the Disney Legends who have made significant contributions to the Disney legacy.

Guests may recognize some of the exterior spaces on the lot that have been featured in productions like the original Mickey Mouse Club, The Absent-Minded Professor, Saving Mr. Banks, Muppets Most Wanted, and ABC’s black-ish.

Guests will then be able to explore the Walt Disney Archives, where they can take a tour of Walt Disney’s restored 3H office suite that contains “original furnishings, awards, and items from the master showman’s personal collection.” You will also receive an exclusive gift to commemorate the experience.

Guests on weekend tours can see the Animator's Office exhibit which is open only on Saturdays for D23.

As part of the tour, guests will also be able to shop at the Disney Studio Store and Employee Center to buy items that are exclusively available on the Studio Lot.

See the pricing for the experience below. Pricing varies depending on what type of D23 membership you have and whether you choose a weekday or weekend tour. D23 General and Gold Members will be able to get a ticket for themselves and one guest.

  • General Member: $149 for weekday tours and $159 for weekend tours per person, plus a $7 per person processing fee.
  • Gold Member: $99 for weekday tours or $109 for weekend tours per person, plus a $7 per person processing fee.
