NEW Disneyland Christmas Character Costumes Revealed On First Day of Holidays

Christmas at Disneyland brings several incredible seasonal offerings, from holiday ride overlays to limited-time themed treats and entertainment, but one of the most exciting parts of the celebration is the special character costumes you'll see across the parks.

The Disney characters are putting on their holiday best for the season, from new outfits for the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! celebration to new festive Christmas attire. Finding the characters in these outfits can make for some really special Disneyland Christmas photos.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Character Outfits

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! is a celebration of holiday traditions featuring cultural performers, music, and Disney characters at Disney California Adventure. During the street parties, you'll see authentic folklórico dancers, mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers, drummers, and 12-foot-tall mojiganga puppets of Santa and Mrs. Claus. In addition to the Three Caballeros, Mickey and Minnie also appear during the street party. This year, the characters have a new look that is pictured above! Mickey is wearing a new turquoise Viva Navidad outfit, which you can see below:

Disneyland Christmas Character Outfits

The classic Disney characters debuted new looks for this Christmas season that are pictured above! You can see Daisy in a festive turquoise coat with a fluffy hood, Clarabelle in a candy cane striped dress with a bow, Pluto in a festive scarf, and Goofy in a red outfit with a chef's apron and hat.

You can see a closer look at Mickey and Minnie's outfits below. Minnie wears a red dress with a bow and a turquoise belt, and Mickey wears turquoise pants with a Santa coat and hat:

Donald wears a new festive green sweater with a holiday lights pattern and a red hat for Christmas:

Chip and Dale look as cute as ever in red and light teal festive holiday shirts, with hats and accents matching each other's outfits.

At California Adventure, you'll find some variations on outfits, like Mickey with a red poinsettia hat and a holiday scarf:

We also saw Donald eyeing the treats in the confectionary window wearing a cute red holiday scarf with a snowflake pattern.
