Compare this new deal to the two other Disney gift card deals that we reported here from Sam’s Club and Best Buy. We are constantly monitoring for gift card deals for our readers. Typically you can find the best gift card savings leading up to Black Friday in November and again before the summer in May. This new deal does not provide the best savings when you compare it to the offers in November, but it is still worthwhile if you need to load up on gift cards before your travels. This deal also has a high allowance for purchases.
Getting deals on Disney gift cards is a fantastic way to save some money during a trip. These physical gift cards can be used for many Disney experiences across the board. They can be applied to park tickets, Disney Cruise Line bookings, Disney+ subscriptions, merchandise, and more!
The versatility of these gift cards is one of their greatest assets, so looking out for deals is incredibly important. Since Disney gift cards never expire, getting them while there is any kind of offer is a good way to ensure that you are getting a deal for your money.
New Cashback Discount on Disney Gift Cards
TopCashback and BeFrugal, two shopping portals owned by Giftcards.com, have revealed a new 8% cashback bonus for certain gift cards. This is an increase from their previous 5% cashback for the same companies. Most importantly, Disney gift cards are included in that deal, but brands such as Sephora and Marriott are also included in this offer.
To get access to this 8% cashback, you have to purchase a physical Disney gift card, no matter which site you go through. Both have caveats that e-gift cards do not fall under this deal, and the cashback will be null and void unless it is applied to a physical card.
Some of the other restrictions on this deal include the amount that can go on one of these gift cards. Single purchases over $2000 do not apply. However, you can earn cashback on multiple orders up to $2000 total over one calendar month. Once your monthly total exceeds this amount, the sale will be adjusted by the retailer. If you use a coupon code not found on either website, the deal will not apply.
It is also important to note that this does does not discount gift card purchases. In fact, if your order is discounted, it is not eligible for the 8% cashback offer. The cashback itself is the deal. This is different from a previous offer through Sam’s Club, where you could purchase a $200 e-gift card for $190. That said, the 8% is higher than the 5% if you are able to use the cash back.

Compared to some other recent gift card deals and discounts, like the deal for the past Black Friday, this 8% cashback deal is still not the best we have seen. It isn’t terrible, saving money is saving money after all, but you want to aim for around a 10% discount as the threshold of the best discount. The easier deals have offered discounts on the gift cards themselves, like the Sam’s Club one mentioned earlier.
