A friend of Mickey Visit spotted Vice President JD Vance getting off of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Disneyland today with an estimated 50 security and Disneyland personnel, you can see the footage below:

It was already confirmed to news outlets like the OC Register that Vice President JD Vance was planning some family time in Orange County this weekend along with a potential Disneyland visit.
Disneyland officials had confirmed to OC Register ahead of his visit that security personnel were working with Disneyland Resort Security in preparation for an upcoming guest visit but declined to confirm any individual plans out of “respect of privacy for all guests.”
Heightened Security at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa May Cause Delays
A friend of Mickey Visit currently staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa described to us the security measures in place at the hotel.
When they arrived at the Grand Californian, they discovered that the front entrance was restricted to just one lane and then their Uber was directed to a tent to be sniffed by security dogs before proceeding. The entrance to the main lobby is closed off and they were then sent around the side to go through a security process similar to the kind before entering the theme parks. Security is putting all bags through scanners, if the luggage is too big for the scanner it will then be hand searched before you can enter which was the case for our friend.
While it hasn't been confirmed where Vice President JD Vance is staying, it's likely it could be at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa due to these large security measures.
Intense security measures like these are not uncommon for high profile political figures. There is also currently a temporary flight restriction that has been filed over Anaheim due to his visit.
If you are staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa this weekend, it's likely you will have a similar experience when you arrive. Allow for more time if you have dinner reservation plans and be prepared for an extensive search when you arrive which may include a hand search of your luggage.
Protests Near Disneyland as a Result of Vice President Visit
Dozens of protestors were seen at Disneyland Drive and Katella corner last night in response to the visit from Vice President JD Vance. The Disneyland Drive street is now reportedly closed. According to local news reports, protestors were speaking out against the current administration's immigration policy which has had a large impact on the Southern California region.
For guests entering Disneyland, this shouldn't have a large impact on your access to the resort as these protests and their impact were largely confined to the area near the entrance of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

Yes, his family is entitled to visit the parks, but I sure hope they had to pay regular pr5ices for everything like everyone else does.
