Before COVID, Walt Disney World offered the FastPass+ program that would allow guests to book FastPass reservations in advance before their vacation. Disney launched the new Genie Plus offering at COVID which has guests make all reservations for attractions on the day that they are going to ride.
Now, Disney has announced a major update to Genie+ services for Walt Disney World! Disney is working on a solution that will allow guests to pre-plan Genie+ services before the day of their visit. This development is in response to feedback from guests, and it may include the potential to also make individual Lightning Lane selections available before their day at the park.
Disney’s goal with this new addition is to allow guests to enjoy the park experience and spent time with their families without having to worry about planning during the day. When Will The Changes to Genie+ Take Effect?
Disney is currently working on a Genie+ update that will be available during visits in 2024. While Disney has not released many details as of yet, more will be shared at a later date!
