You’ll Never Guess Which Disneyland Restaurant Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay Came Back to Eat at Again

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was recently spotted at Disneyland, and we were completely surprised by the restaurant he ate at! We have our list of the overall Mickey Visit best Disneyland restaurants based on our frequent dining at Disneyland that we constantly update, but interestingly Gordon Ramsay ate at one particular quick-service restaurant that is not in this ranking.

Ramsay is a multi Michelin-starred chef who has also been prominent as a television personality in cooking shows including Kitchen Nightmares, Hell's Kitchen, MasterChef, and MasterChef Junior, to name a few.

Here is the Disneyland restaurant Gordon Ramsay ate at during his recent trip that may surprise you…

Where Gordon Ramsay Ate at Disneyland

Doctor Disney shared a Facebook post of Gordon Ramsay during his recent Disneyland visit, and the comments immediately started speculating about where he ate and what he thought of the quality of the food at the parks.

On the post, one commenter shared that she saw where he ate on this day. Michaela Wilson shared that Gordon Ramsay opted for a certain quick-service restaurant in Fantasyland.  “For those of you wondering, he and his family ate at Red Rose Tavern, at least for lunch, I know this because I unexpectedly realized in the middle of my meal that he was at the table about 10 feet from me(…)”

Red Rose Taverne is the main quick-service restaurant of Fantasyland inspired by the countryside of Beauty and the Beast. It offers a selection of quick-service French cuisine with lunch options like flatbreads, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Taverne Cheeseburger, and the popular Grey Stuff dessert from the film. We enjoy the fun desserts here including the Grey Stuff which often comes in seasonal variations during special events and celebrations throughout the year—one response to Michaela's Facebook comment was a rather amusing comment from Todd Mowrey referencing this: “did he try the gray stuff and did he find it delicious?”

Interestingly, it seems that Gordon Ramsay has been spotted a this location more than once recently. Heidi Carrillo commented, “I saw him a couple months ago and he was eating at Red Rose Tavern! I kept wondering what he thought of the food.”

Red Rose Taverne Disneyland

It's interesting that this seems to be a repeat location for this celebrity chef! We do like Red Rose Taverne as it is a good quick-service option but in our overall best restaurants ranking don't necessarily consider it one of our go-to options on that list. In our list of our top Disneyland quick service restaurants, we mention how this is a convenient location for breakfast especially if you rope dropped Fantasyland with our Mickey Visit Disneyland morning strategy.

If anyone sees Gordon Ramsay at Disneyland next time, ask him what he orders at Red Rose. I'm also curious about where he enjoys dinner. For that, he might be escorted over to the private Disneyland Club 33.

For a laugh, be sure to check out the comments on our post on “Guy Fieri”‘s Disneyland appearance (continuing our series of mislabeled celebrity photos at Disneyland). No, that's not Guy Fieri or Julia Child as one commented, but it's Gordon Ramsay. I hope that we don't get yelled at by the celebrity himself as some commenters suggested that we would.
