In order to do such a large-scale project justice, producers have given this movie a runtime of about 165 minutes, or 2 hours and 45 minutes. Avengers: Doomsday is supposed to be a sequel to 2019’s popular Avengers: Endgame.

The cast for this movie is full of stars from across the MCU. It will see the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, and many others. This short list only scratches the surface of how many favorites will be returning for Avengers: Doomsday.
The most intriguing cast member returning for this film is Robert Downey Jr., who will not be reprising his role as Tony Stark / Iron Man, but instead will take on a new role as Doctor Doom. Many fans have wondered how successful this re-casting will be since Robert Downey Jr. has already played such an iconic role in the MCU. It may be difficult to see him as Doctor Doom rather than Tony Stark, but only time will tell how successful it will be.
