Indiana Jones Adventure closes for refurbishment on December 1. This closure is a short one that is taking place in what we anticipate will be the start of a quiet week at the parks. You can see details about the closure in our separate article here.
Thanksgiving week is one of the most crowded weeks of the year at Disneyland, as we predicted in our Mickey Visit Disneyland crowd calendar. You can expect massive crowds on the holiday itself on November 27 and very high crowds in the days surrounding it. We are here at the parks today, and the crowds are wild! If you’re visiting during this week, it’s essential to get to the parks early in the morning for rope drop and make good use of Lightning Lane Multi Pass and mobile ordering for quick-service meals. Make sure to place your mobile order very early in the day, as soon as you know what you want!
For a limited time, starting today, Officer Clawhauser will appear at Disney California Adventure! We anticipate this is going to be a super popular meet-and-greet. You can see details on where to find him in our separate article here.
Disneyland will start distributing its hand-pulled candy canes this week, on November 28. The distribution schedule alternates between Candy Palace at Disneyland and Trolley Treats at Disney California Adventure. Santa will start making appearances at the Disneyland Resort Hotels on November 27. You’ll find him in the main lobby at Pixar Place Hotel, in the Great Hall at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and in the main lobby at the Disneyland Hotel.

The Emperor’s New Groove-inspired Llama Potion Cereal Treat is now available at Disneyland. You’ll find it at Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure, Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen in Disneyland, and Disney Wonderful World of Sweets in Downtown Disney.
