Important Disneyland Dates This Week
This week, tickets go on sale for both Sweethearts’ Nite and 70 Years of Favorites. There will be Magic Key presales on December 9-10 before tickets open up to the general public on December 11. On Tuesday, December 9, 2025 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT), Inspire Key holders will be able to purchase from a select number of pre-sale tickets. On Wednesday, December 10, all Magic Key holders can purchase from a select number of pre-sale tickets. Then, on Thursday, December 11, 2025, tickets will go on sale to the general public.

Holiday blockouts start this week for Magic Key holders as we approach one of the busiest times of the year at Disneyland. Imagine Key holders will be blocked out of the parks starting on Friday, December 12. This blockout will last the remainder of the month, all the way through January 3.
You can always expect a spike in crowds leading up to a big blockout period like this. In our Mickey Visit Disneyland crowd calendar, we anticipate the parks will be above normal crowds starting on the 11th. Crowds will generally keep increasing as we get closer to when winter break starts for schools.
The Disneyland reservations have been constantly sold out for Magic Key Pass Holders, and when a day does open up, it fills up instantly. I have heard from some who have chosen to book a hotel stay at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels to access their hotel-guest-only reservations to get their reservation for the parks.
Disneyland has a new California-wide ticket offer now available for purchase that allows visitors to enjoy discounted 3-day park hopper tickets. This deal is a huge savings and the lowest price on tickets that we have seen in years! California residents should definitely take advantage of this offer. The ticket deal is $83 per day if you buy it directly from Disneyland, but they are letting their ticket resellers sell it for even less, and our travel partner Get Away Today has lowered the price of these tickets to $68 per day for our Mickey Visit readers. From December 12 to 14, 2025, there will be a special Artist Showcase and Signing with Noah Elias. Disney shares in the event description that “Noah’s interpretation of characters has become a huge favorite among Disney collectors and fans worldwide.” This will be happening from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Friday) and 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday) at Disneyana on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park.

Disneyland distributes hand-pulled candy canes this week on December 9, 14, and 16 at Candy Palace at Disneyland and December 8, 10, and 15 at Disney California Adventure. The distribution schedule alternates between Candy Palace at Disneyland and Trolley Treats at Disney California Adventure.
