Disneyland Announces Return Dates For Paint the Night Parade and Other 70th Offerings

Disneyland just announced its full 2026 calendar of events, including all special events and opening dates for new attractions and shows. We now have a clearer look at the coming year and the remainder of the Disneyland 70th anniversary celebration, which kicked off last May and runs until early August 2026.

Some of the 70th anniversary offerings, including the popular Paint the Night parade, have temporarily paused to make way for seasonal entertainment, but Disneyland has now announced when these will return. Disneyland 70th Anniversary Offerings Returning

Right now, some of the 70th anniversary entertainment is on hold during the holiday celebration. Select entertainment offerings have continued, like “World of Color Happiness!,” “Tapestry of Happiness,” and “Celebrate Happy: A Little Bit of Magic Every Night.”

Disneyland has shared that the “Wondrous Journeys” nighttime spectacular and Mickey and friends in their 70th outfits will return on January 8, right after the end of the Christmas celebration at Disneyland.

On January 9, “The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade” will return, and on January 30, the “Paint the Night” parade will return.

Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! in Disney California Adventure was left out of this 2026 lineup and will not be returning for the remainder of the 70th anniversary celebration. The parade ended its run in early August.

Paint the Night Disneyland

Starting today, on December 4, guests can book Paint the Night dining packages at Plaza Inn for use beginning January 30, 2026. These include a meal and access to a reserved viewing area for the parade. You can see all the details about Paint the Night dining packages here.

The Disneyland California-wide residents ticket offer for 2026 travel is now on sale as of yesterday.

Disneyland also shared that new 70th anniversary merchandise will be available at Disneyland and on DisneyStore.com, which will join the items currently available from the Celebration Collection.

Later this month, the Vault Collection will expand with new apparel as well. In January, a new chapter of the Vault Collection will arrive! The Tinker Bell Chapter will include items like the Women’s Tee and Trinket Tray. See the tee below!

There will also be new Sleeping Beauty Castle–inspired products joining the Castle Collection, including a Spirit Jersey and Pin Set.

The Disneyland 70th anniversary celebration ends on August 9, 2026, so there are several more months for guests to enjoy all of the special offerings.
