Disneyland is constantly evaluating its menu offerings and will occasionally make larger changes based on guest response. One Disney California Adventure restaurant just introduced a completely refreshed menu, and now another has followed suit with a new array of upgraded offerings.
This particular restaurant had once been a favorite that had dropped off our Mickey Visit best Disneyland restaurants list due to a decline in food quality, so we are very excited to see these new changes. We tried some of the updated items and will share our thoughts below! At Mickey Visit, we share the latest Disney news, like changes to Disneyland’s Lunar New Year celebration in 2026 and Disney clarifying line rules for attraction queue re-entry.
Disney California Adventure Restaurant Upgrades Menu Offerings
Disney California Adventure has some of the best food offerings at the Disneyland Resort for both table-service and quick-service dining. One quick-service restaurant, however, had a noticeable decline in quality after the parks opened following the pandemic.
Flo’s had been a favorite of ours for a long time due to the great theming of the location. The restaurant is pulled straight from the Cars film and has a patio with great views of the Radiator Springs Racers cars zooming by. However, as the food became more mediocre, we dropped this location off our top restaurants list and hoped for a bigger menu refresh.

Now, Flo’s V8 Cafe has debuted a major menu overhaul that greatly enhances the available offerings. This news comes along with several new foods that Disneyland just debuted across the resort. We tried several of these new items and will share our thoughts below. Overall, this feels like a big upgrade to the previous offerings, and we hope to see this quality maintained as time goes on.
First, we tried the new “Big Dipper” Cheeseburger, whichis beef patty, American cheese, B&B pickles, and caramelized onions on a toasted bun with pepperoncini cheese sauce served with a choice of Cuties Mandarin Oranges or fries.
This dish was a hit with us! The cheese sauce is tangy from pepperoncini and is fun to eat. The dish is very filling and comes with an orange or fries.
Next, we tried the new Winner’s Circle Chicken and Waffle, which is crispy, golden-fried chicken and a buttermilk waffle with whipped butter and maple syrup. We liked this dish, and it was super filling and shareable. The chicken in the dish is dark meat.
We also tried the new Fast Track Loaded Fries, which are fries topped with hearty chili, pepperoncini cheese sauce, sliced pepperoncini, and diced onions. You can never go wrong with chili fries! The sliced pepperoncini really elevates this dish.
We tried the new Fillmore Groovy Greens with Crispy Chicken Fenders, which contain crispy chicken fenders, romaine and kale, bean and corn salad, cucumbers, tomatoes, crispy quinoa, toasted sunflower seeds, and zesty dressing. This salad is a hit! The zesty dressing is not heavy, and this salad tasted very fresh. Chicken strips are served on top, but you can also order this salad without them for a bland-based option.
We tried the new Cup of Chili, which is hearty chili with cheddar cheese, diced onions, and cone-shaped cornbread. The cutest thing on the menu is the cone-shaped cornbread served on top! This is a nice chili and a great little dish to warm up with on a cold Cars Land day.
Here is a look at the new Mini Buckwheat Waffles, which are two mini buckwheat waffles served with sugar-free syrup. These are served with a mandarin and carrots, plus milk or water.
A fun new drink we tried is the Stop Sign Cream Soda Pop, which contains Sprite with housemade strawberry and coconut cream topped with housemade strawberry cream and strawberry-flavored flakes. It is refreshing but also a bit messy. Kids would love it!
In addition to the cream soda, there is also a new cold brew on the menu that is bound to be popular. The Start Your Engine Cold Brew contains Joffrey’s Shakin’ Jamaican Cold Brew with caramel premium syrup, and a swirl of caramel topped with housemade caramel-flavored cream and a caramel sauce drizzle.
There are also some more standard items on the menu, like the Ka-Cheeseburger (Beef patty, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and B&B pickles on a toasted bun served with a choice of Cuties Mandarin Oranges or fries), Tuned-Up Chicken Fenders (Crispy chicken fenders tossed in choice of sauce, teriyaki or buffalo) and kids’ meals like the Mack’s Mac & Cheese (Kids meal) and Micro Burger with a Cuties Mandarin Orange and carrots.
Returning drinks include the Flo’s Classic Shake (Vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry shake topped with “road gravel”) and alcoholic beverages, including the Brewery X Fender Bender IPA, Pacifico Cerveza Clara Mexican Pilsner-style lager, and Seaborn Passion Guava Margarita. You can also get the shake as a Neapolitan shake, which is a fun Disneyland secret menu hack we’ve tried.
We’re happy to see these much-needed menu upgrades at this location. Even if we’re getting food from Cozy Cone or San Fransokyo Square, we like to grab our food and bring it over here to enjoy the great ambiance.

The buckwheat pancakes says it’s served with carrots, but it looks like french fries in the photo. Is there a choice or was the wording wrong?
