Even though hundreds of Disney characters have appeared in theme parks over the decades, there are still a few among the company’s vast library of beloved characters who have yet to leap from the movie screen. One Disney character just made their Disney resort debut, but it will only last for a limited time.
Guests visiting Disneyland Resort in the near future will have the opportunity to meet a Disney character that no one has ever seen in the theme parks before. This rare character meet and greet comes alongside a handful of other special offerings available this month only. Keep reading for all of the details! Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including new Girls Crew jewelry coming to Disneyland and a new bus servicing Disneyland-area hotels.

For example, Bing Bong from Inside Out and Joe Gardner from Soul have both appeared at Pixar Place Hotel.
Today, another favorite Pixar friend started making appearances, marking a first for not just the hotel, but for all of Disney theme parks and resorts: EVE!
EVE appears alongside WALL-E at Pixar Place Hotel. Guests can find the pair in the lobby on April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2026.
WALL-E is a very rare character who usually only appears during special events, like Earth Month. We believe this is EVE’s character meet & greet debut for any Disney destination. The film WALL-E was released in 2008, so this has been a long time coming!

EVE appears as a puppet in a show onboard the new Disney Adventure cruise ship, but not as a meetable character. The version of EVE at Pixar Place Hotel appears to be an Audio-Animatronics figure. She’s physically attached to WALL-E, holding his hand and hovering in mid-air next to him.
The pair is able to roam around freely, not attached to anything. In this way, they’re similar to the Olaf Audio-Animatronics figure that just debuted at Disney Adventure World.
Disney has not announced WALL-E’s meet & greet times for WALL-E and EVE. Guests can usually look in the Disneyland Resort app for character meet & greet schedules, but we don’t see WALL-E and EVE’s sets posted. If you’re staying at Pixar Place Hotel, we recommend asking the front desk about the characters’ schedule.
If you need a refresher, EVE is short for Extraterrestrial Vegetation Evaluator, and WALL-E is short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter: Earth Class.
WALL-E and EVE Are Part of Disneyland’s Earth Month Celebration
WALL-E and EVE’s story is all about preserving Earth’s natural resources, making them appropriate characters to make appearances during Earth Month.
The meet & greet with WALL-E and EVE is one of several special activities happening throughout Disneyland Resort to celebrate Earth Month.
Dr. Sammy Ramsey, National Geographic Explorer and pollinator expert, will share a culinary presentation at Disney California Adventure‘s Hollywood Backlot Stage on April 4 and 5, 2026, at 3:30 and 5 PM. The presentation doubles as an Earth Month activation and part of the ongoing Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.
Additionally, all month long, guests can visit a limited-time art installation featuring Winnie the Pooh sculptures created by cast members from recycled materials. The artwork is on display near Silly Symphony Swings, and guests can vote for their favorite piece.
Guests staying at one of Disneyland Resort’s onsite hotels also have access to several other Earth Month perks just for them, including a free craft activity.
