Many Don’t Know There’s a Bowling Alley in the Middle of Disneyland

While Disneyland is perhaps best known for its incredibly immersive rides and dazzling entertainment, there are countless more fun things to do at the resort as a whole. From character dining at the Disneyland Resort hotels to exploring all of the secret spots around Disneyland, there is more to enjoy on property.

One particularly fun offering that some visitors may overlook is the presence of a bowling alley right near the middle of the Downtown Disney District! Downtown Disney is known for its dining, shopping, and entertainment offerings, with several exciting new experiences in the works including the opening of several new restaurants soon and more new additions coming to the area.

We will take you inside what is offered at this bowling alley at the Disneyland Resort and what you can expect during a visit here!

Bowling Alley at the Disneyland Resort

Splitsville Luxury Lanes bowling

Splitsville Luxury Lanes, located in the Downtown Disney District, is a restaurant and bowling alley with a vintage vibe that has 20 luxury bowling lanes, more than 25 big-screen TVs, both indoor and outdoor dining, and a patio with live entertainment!

Splitsville Luxury Lanes can be an appealing option for families looking for a fun activity during a day off from the parks. While the experience of bowling here is more expensive than what you may encounter at your local bowling alley, you’ll be able to enjoy the most up-to-date technology and large bowling lanes at the location. The amount of time you'll get at the lanes depends on the number of bowlers in your party (1 hour for 1-2 bowlers, 1 hour 15 minutes for 3-4 bowlers, etc.) and there can be up to 8 bowlers per lane.

You can also enjoy a meal at Splitsville Luxury Lanes, which offers a menu of American food that promises to exceed guests’ expectations of “alley food” with several choices like pizza, sushi, a selection of entrees, and “handhelds” like burgers, tacos, and sandwiches. You can also choose from a great selection of appetizers like the popular “Macho Nachos.” This is a good last-minute option in Downtown Disney if you want to enjoy a table-service meal given the variety of options on the menu!

There is also a menu of fun cocktails available like the “Big Wave Dave” as well as options like draft beer and wine and canned/bottled beer, making this an appealing option for adults who are looking for a place to relax and enjoy a drink outside of the parks.

Adding to the atmosphere is live music that is featured on the covered patio. You can see our full Splitsville dining review for more details about a visit on a day when there was a live cover band on the patio playing 90s grunge hits!

This is a really fun offering at Downtown Disney and a great idea for an activity on a day off from the parks. You can see our full guide to Downtown Disney for everything you need to know about its current offerings.
