Disneyland Announces NEW Fantasmic! Dining Package at Popular Restaurant

One of the most popular shows at Disneyland is easily the nighttime spectacular Fantasmic! with the resort offering a variety of dining package options so guests can secure reserved viewing.

These Fantasmic! dining package options are extremely popular with some of these packages, like the one offered at Blue Bayou and reserved seating at River Belle Terrace, selling out immediately.

Disneyland is adding another restaurant to the Fantasmic! dining package lineup which is one of our favorite table service restaurants in the parks.

This new Fantasmic! dining package will offer a three course pre-fix menu available for both lunch and dinner. The appetizer will include a choice of gumbo or plant based sweet potato and lentil hummus. For the entrée guests can choose any current entrée offerings or the new Steak Frites Entrée which features ribeye and petite watercress salad served with a béarnaise sauce. Dessert will be a Chocolate Decadence Tart Dessert, a dark chocolate coffee custard with chocolate cookie crust topped with a mousse rock and Mickey decoration.

Dining packages include a ticket to gain access to the reserved viewing alongside Rivers of America.

Will Café Orleans Replace an Existing Fantasmic! Dining Package?

Typically, there are only three dining packages offered at one time for Fantasmic! as the reserved viewing area is split into three sections. Aside from the extremely limited sit down seating offered at River Belle Terrace, of course.

Traditionally Disneyland offers two table service options and one quick service for Fantasmic! dinining packages. Since River Belle Terrace also offers the premium seating on the restaurant patio, I do not see that one being replaced. The other likely scenario could be Rancho Del Zocalo Restaurante which replaced Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree during their construction period when the quick service location was transformed into a Country Bear theme. This would leave the option of Fantasmic! dining packages without a quick service option though which would be a first for Disneyland.

The other consideration is that Café Orleans may replace Blue Bayou as an option for Fantasmic! dining packages as these two restaurants both have a similar New Orleans inspired menu. This seems far more likely but this would be disappointing for many guests as Blue Bayou is such a popular Fantasmic! dining package option.

It is hard to say which of the Fantasmic! dining package options Café Orleans may replace but it’s great to see more offerings for this popular dining package especially at one of our favorite Disneyland restaurants.
