There are specific times of the year when Walt Disney World has peak crowds along with lower than usual crowd days. Sometimes these peak days take place on holidays while lowest crowd days might fall during slower times of the year.

We’re looking back at the busiest days and least crowded days of 2025 at Disney World broken down by the overall resort and by each individual theme park. Some of this data might surprise you! Busiest Days at Disney World Overall in 2025

The data we’re looking at below will break down the days of the year with the highest crowds beginning December 2024 and ending at the beginning of December 2025. This data is based on average wait times and peak wait times at the overall Walt Disney World resort and broken out for the four theme parks. We collected this data over the past year in order to provide you this deep analysis and look back.

Not surprisingly, the busiest day of the year fell on December 30 which we rank as Massive crowds on our Disney World crowd calendar. In fact, all of the busiest dates of the year fell during the holiday season and even extending to January 4, 2025.

The only date that falls outside of that timeline is October 12, 2025 which is Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day weekend which we often call one of the worst dates of the year to visit Disney World.
