New First Ever Disney Lion King Ride Concept Art & Details Revealed

We just got more information on the first ever Lion King ride coming to a Disney Park including concept art and further details!

This ride was first announced at D23 and we were given a look at the large-scale model of the Lion King ride at the most recent Disney Annual Shareholders Meeting. Now in addition to this large-scale model, we have a construction update with new concept art.

Lion King Concept Art Revealed

Disneyland Paris just revealed another new look at the attraction based on The Lion King. The Lion King ride will share Simba's journey with guests and feature Lion King animatronics as guests “plunge into the heart of the Pride Lands.” The concept art below gives us a first look at the type of scenes we can expect in the new ride which appears to be the iconic “Hakuna Matata” song,

This new Lion King attraction will be a part of a new area in Disneyland Paris called Pride Lands which is all inspired by the stories of The Lion King film. This land is part of a new area called Disney Adventure World which will be a reimagining of the current Walt Disney Studios Park. The Pride Lands will include new dining, shopping, and character interactions.

Construction for the new Lion King ride is set to begin this fall at Disneyland Paris.
