Disney Reveals New Rooms Themed to Hercules, Baymax, Sorcerer Mickey, Incredibles, and More

Disney Cruise Line has revealed a first look at some of the artwork that will be featured in the staterooms on its newest ship, the Disney Destiny! This artwork reflects the heroes and villains theme of the ship, highlighting favorite stories and characters from Disney, Marvel, and Pixar.

Each of these new paintings features some beloved characters from stories like Hercules, The Incredibles, Fantasia, and more. Keep reading for a look at this new stateroom artwork coming to the Disney Destiny!

Disney Destiny Stateroom Artwork

All of the artwork for the staterooms on the Disney Destiny leans into the dichotomy of heroes and villains, which is quite fun! We love the use of contrasting tones to convey this, like in the Hercules-inspired artwork seen above. The artwork features all of the major characters from the film, including Hercules, Meg, and Hades.

We love this amazing artwork inspired by The Incredibles, which features the Parr family and Frozone as well as Syndrome lurking in the background.

This beautiful Mulan artwork features the major characters from the film! Just like the other paintings, it strikes a balance between light and darkness. I love how that contrast manifests with the fog at the bottom of the painting in particular.

There is also artwork inspired by Brave, featuring Merida riding her horse Angus and her mother Queen Elinor in bear form.

The concierge staterooms on the Disney Destiny will feature this Fantasia-inspired artwork highlighting Sorcerer Mickey! I love the detail in this one and the silhouette of Chernabog in the background.
