The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has officially begun! The festival runs from now to April 27, bringing marketplaces and limited-time foods, culinary demonstrations and bookable classes, the return of Soarin’ Over California, and more.
We were there on the first day of the event to try several foods! We tried 13 items in total, most of which were new this year. We will share our thoughts on which are worth it and which may be skippable. See our full review below. At Mickey Visit, we cover the latest Disney news, like Disneyland’s 10 new additions and offerings coming this spring, and another new Disney Gift Card discount deal just released for March 2026.

Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival Review 2026
Across Disney California Adventure, you’ll find several limited-time foods at the various marketplaces across the park, as well as seasonal items for the festival at select restaurants. We tried several of these, and will share our thoughts on the standouts and who might best like the different offerings.
Many of the foods are included with the Sip and Savor Pass, which is a pass with digital coupons that you can use to redeem for select food and nonalcoholic beverages at participating locations. This year, there is a 4 or 8 coupon option. The 4-entitlement Sip and Savor Pass is $34, including tax. The 8-entitlement Sip and Savor Pass is $64, including tax. Magic Key holders can get a discounted 8-entitlement Sip and Savor Pass for $59, including tax.

A pro tip: you can order all of your items from one marketplace rather than going to each individual one to order. To do this, just have a list of the items from all of the marketplaces you wish to order, then find the one with the shortest line and order. Hold onto your receipt, as you’ll use it to redeem your items.

We were hosted by Disney to try the different foods at the event, but as always, we share our honest thoughts.
At California Craft Brews, we tried the new Chicharrón Nachos, which contain chicharrón, chorizo, cheese sauce, tomatoes, and salsa verde. This was very good! It had a little bit of kick and good flavor throughout. Make sure to shake it up quite a lot. Even when you do, you have to dig for the toppings a bit. I would rate this a 7.5/10.
From the same location, we also had the returning California Punch, which contains mango purée, guava nectar, cucumber syrup, and lemon juice, garnished with a mango-chile lollipop. This was decently sweet, but I liked it a lot. My favorite part was the mango-chile lollipop inside. Overall, this is quite a refreshing drink to walk around the park with. I would rate it a 7/10.
LA Style, we tried the new Carbonara Pizzetta, which has white sauce, Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Bacon, and black pepper drizzle. This was not the most impressive of the new items we tried, which is a shame, because I thought it looked quite interesting. It was quite greasy (as you can see in the photo below) and pretty uniform in taste and texture, so it lacked real interest. It does taste like carbonara, though.
I think that kids would maybe like this as a nice, simple option. I’d rate this a 5/10. It may be a skip if you don’t have younger people or picky eaters in your party.
From Peppers Cali-Ente, we tried the new Tajín Habanero Seasoned Wings with Tajín chile-lime sauce. This was one of our favorite things we tried! It’s a great option for those who want to be slightly adventurous but still stick to a familiar format. The flavor worked very well, and it wasn’t overly spicy. I would definitely have these again. I’d rate them an 8/10.
From the same booth, we also tried the new Ramen Mac & Cheese, which has furikake crumble, fish cakes, green onions, and chile crunch. This was definitely a standout dish for me, but I’m always partial to any standout macs at these festivals. You can definitely taste the ramen flavoring, but it’s not overwhelming. It’s creamy, flavorful, and the chili oil is a nice optional kick. Similar to my comment about the chicken wings above, this would be a good way to introduce kids to new flavors. I would rate this a 9/10.
We also tried the new Strawberry Guava Lemonade from here, which contains Simply Lemonade, strawberry purée, and guava syrup topped with vanilla cream and freeze-dried strawberries. This is definitely an eye-catching drink. We got a lot of questions from people walking by asking where to find this. I will say that it’s extremely sweet, and you will want to mix the cream into the drink.
That being said, I think kids would definitely like this one. I would rate it a 6/10. This may be a skip if you don’t like sweet drinks.
From Mercado de Antojos, we tried the returning Café de Olla Tres Leches Cake, which is café de olla-infused tres leches topped with piloncillo, chantilly, cinnamon, and a Mickey-shaped cookie. I had not tried this one before this year, but it wasn’t my favorite. I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the flavors, and the cake felt a little watery and unappealing in texture to me. However, the topping was quite delicious. It’s a bigger dessert than most you’d find at the festival, so it’s ideal for sharing. I would rate this a 6/10.
From Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo, we tried the returning Asa’DOS, which is grilled skirt steak, chipotle chicken, Spanish rice, and salsa verde. This is a really nice option if you’re not feeling super hungry and want something relatively small. It’s still more food than most Sip and Savor portions, and the flavors work nicely together. The rice is flavorful, and the beef is tender. Overall, this works really well. I’d rate it a 7/10.
From Hollywood Lounge, we tried the new Chicken and Waffle Mole Taco, which is a waffle taco shell filled with chicken in spicy mole sauce, white rice, pepitas, and sesame seeds. This is good as a little snack, but the portion size is definitely small. Overall, the flavors were very solid, and I enjoyed this one. I would rate it a 7/10.
From Schmoozies!, we tried the new Mickey-shaped Banana-Hazelnut Waffles, which are Mickey-shaped waffles with chocolate-hazelnut filling topped with banana whipped topping and powdered sugar.
They’ve been experimenting with different seasonal flavors for this treat, so it’s always interesting to try the latest one. I’ve found the seasonal flavors to be a bit hit or miss. Though my favorite is still hands-down the red velvet ones from Christmas, I did very much enjoy these and would say they’re my second favorite. You can’t really go wrong with a Nutella-type filling. Kids and adults alike will enjoy these, and I would rate them a 9/10.
But please be warned that these waffles will always drip out filling, and they are super messy to eat! Make sure to have plenty of napkins.
From Pym Test Kitchen, we tried the new Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese, which is spinach and artichoke on parmesan-crusted sourdough served with potato bites. This was super delicious. It’s basically spinach artichoke dip on toast. It’s creamy, flavorful, and the toast is perfectly crunchy. I will absolutely get this again. I rate it a 10/10.
From Terran Treats, we tried the new Pandan Latte Churro, which has coffee sugar, pandan whipped cream, and toasted coconut shavings. This was a little bit missable, but it may have just been an off day.
The pandan whipped cream was good and had that nice, grassy vanilla type flavor. However, the churros themselves were a little hard, which threw off my overall read on the seasonal flavor. In fairness, that this may have been a fluke, I’ll give these a 6/10. I would say, however, that it’s a skip compared to some of the other desserts at the festival.

From Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream, we tried the Frozen Banoffee Banana, which is a milk chocolate-dipped frozen banana with toffee pieces, caramel sauce, and white chocolate drizzle. I knew I was going to like this a lot, but I didn’t quite prepare myself for how much!
The toppings are great, and this is a really nice dessert that doesn’t leave you feeling icky afterwards. Be warned that this thing is huge! It’s definitely made for sharing. I would rate this a 9.5/10.
