Disney California Adventure Closure End Date Added to Refurbishment List

Disneyland has revealed the reopening date for a Disney California Adventure attraction ahead of the kickoff of the holiday celebration at the resort. At Mickey Visit, we are always keeping a close eye on changes and updates to the Disneyland refurbishment calendar. Previously, we reported on another Disney California Adventure ride closure and the closure of this attraction.

Right now, there are a few extended refurbishments happening at the resort, including this one at Disney California Adventure that now has an end date posted. Disney California Adventure Attraction Reopening

We previously reported that Mickey's PhilharMagic at Disney California Adventure will be closing on October 6, 2025, for refurbishment. This is a 12-minute 3D concert movie in Hollywood Land that stars Donald Duck, who finds himself plunged into a world of classic Disney animated musical sequences after he tries on Mickey's Sorcerer Hat.

Permits filed for the attraction revealed that the refurbishment will include upgrades to the projectors, audio, lighting, and control equipment. We anticipate that this will both enhance the attraction and the overall space for other presentations and special events hosted here.

We can now see on the refurbishment calendar that the attraction is scheduled to reopen on October 31, making this a roughly month-long closure. The closure start date is happening right after the most popular ride at the park will have reopened.

Especially during the warmer months, this show can be a great opportunity to enjoy the air conditioning and escape from the crowds. The film features several favorite songs like “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast, “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid, “I Just Can't Wait to Be King” from The Lion King, “Un Poco Loco” from Coco, “You Can Fly” from Peter Pan, and “A Whole New World” from Aladdin.
