D23 Merchandise Preview! Star Tours, Disneyland 70th, Haunted Mansion, and More

The D23 Expo, the biggest Disney fan convention in the world, is taking place this weekend. The event will feature several experiences including presentations, panels, shopping, and more.

We have an early look today at the vast array of merchandise that will be available for those attending this weekend's D23 event. Within World of Disney: The Product Experience is the D23 Marketplace, where guests will find a variety of offerings including Disney Limited Edition Dolls, the new vinyl series Disney Lacers, and more. We have a look at the special collections and cool merchandise that you will find here!

Shopping at D23

The area opens up with a timeline of the magic of Disney merchandise over the years, which you can see above. We will take you through some of the items you can shop for during D23 this weekend that we got to see as part of a media preview night for D23.

You'll find some Mary Poppins 60th anniversary items including penguin plush toys which will also be available online on the Disney Store website starting Monday, August 12th at 8AM PST along with the Mary Poppins 60th Anniversary Minnie Ears.

See this limited-edition 60th-anniversary Mary Poppins pin. This will be a popular item especially for pin collectors and may not be available online.

You'll find apparel and merchandise celebrating Disneyland's 70th anniversary which is coming up next year.

See these limited-edition 70th anniversary pins featuring various Disneyland iconography. These pins will likely be the most popular item from this collection. We will likely see the rest of the 70th Disneyland anniversary merchandise appear at a later date.

Here is a look at the Disney Designer Collection Midnight Masquerade Series Limited Edition Doll Set – Fashionably Late below. Disney dolls are one of the most popular merchandise items these days so I expect these will be in high demand. These will also be available online on the Disney Store website starting Monday, August 12th at 8AM PST. On the website these dolls are being sold as a set together for $779 so this is one of the biggest collector items at D23 Marketplace.

Here is a closer look at the Aladdin bags and merchandise. Most of this merchandise isn't limited, the Dooney & Bourke bags have been around for some time now

Here is a look at some of the Disney pins you can shop for including Sorcerer Mickey, Ariel, and The Lion King pins.

Here is a look at merchandise inspired by The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. This merchandise will be available online on the Disney Store website starting Monday, August 12th at 8AM PST. I anticipate we'll see it arrive at the parks too.

Here is a look at a Haunted Mansion merchandise collection available. The big draw in this collection which is exclusive to D23 is the Harvey's Haunted Mansion 55th Anniversary tote. This bag will not be sold online and this is one of the most high ticket items in this collection. These bags will sell out FAST.

See some of the Haunted Mansion apparel you can shop. The shoulder Raven will be available online on the Disney Store website starting Monday, August 12th at 8AM PST.

At D23, you can shop the Disney Lacers Blind Box Series 1 and 2, with two limited editions. This is a new merchandise collection debuting at D23. It will be interesting to see if this collection is a hit with fans as this will be the first big test. Most of this collection will also be available online on the Disney Store website starting Monday, August 12th at 8AM PST.
