New Disneyland Carrot Cake Churro…You Have to Try This!
From lightsaber churros to sour watermelon churros, one snack that Disneyland is known for are their creative churro flavors. The latest? A carrot cake churro that's joined the wide array of Disneyland food as part of this year's Pixar Fest, which runs through September 3.
During our trip to the opening of the new Pixar celebration we tried this unlikely hit and were quite surprised by the tasty treat.
The carrot cake churro can be found in the New Orleans area of the park, and comes with a orange cinnamon sugar coating and a side of cream cheese frosting mixed with raisins and carrots for dipping.
Pixar Fest is Disneyland's celebration of 23 years of collaboration between Disney and Pixar Studios. Including the new churro, the Fest features Pixar-themed food like a Merit Badge Eclair inspired by Russell from Up, and green macarons in the shape of the little green aliens from Toy Story.
The combination of the churro with the dipping sauce is perfect. There is just the right ratio of frosting to churro so that even if you give yourself generous portions of frosting with each churro bite, you won't run out.
