Disney World Introducing 90 New Buses With Enhanced Accessibility Features

The Walt Disney World bus system is a major form of transportation utilized by guests during their vacation, making 12,000 trips a day with over 100 bus routes across the property according to Disney. Though there are multiple Walt Disney World transportation modes offered including water transportation, the monorail, and the Skyliner, the buses are commonly utilized by guests with an average monthly ridership of more than 4.6 million people.

This year, Disney World will be introducing new buses to its fleet, and some will have new wraps featuring favorite Disney stories. These new buses will have updated accessibility features as well for guests with disabilities.

New Walt Disney World Buses

In 2024, Disney World is introducing more than 90 new buses to its fleet that will replace the older models. Some of these will feature fun new wraps inspired by Disney stories like Zootopia, Ratatouille, and more. See a look at the fun wraps on two of the new Walt Disney World buses below that are being added to the fleet!

The new buses also have updated accessibility features utilizing a QUANTUM securement station, a product of Q'STRAINT. The system features a mechanical arm that will lower and secure the guest's mobility device in place. See a look at the interior of a new Disney World bus below:
