We are on the Disney Wish, going through a scavenger hunt looking for clues that will lead to reveals and what is changed about the new Disney Believe cruise ship coming next year compared to the other ships. The theme for Disney Believe will focus on the characters who “dare to dream and believe in themselves,” and promotional materials have featured characters from Moana, Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, and The Little Mermaid.
This will be the fifth ship in the Disney Wish class of ships. Let’s get into all the clues we learned from the fun scavenger hunt teasing details about the experiences before the final reveal from Disney Cruise Line tomorrow. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including the Disney purchases we regret the most once we get home and the next wave of price increases at Disneyland and Disney World.

Disney Believe Scavenger Hunt Reveals New Experiences

Disney Believe will join the Wish-class ships, including the enchantment-themed Disney Wish, adventure-themed Disney Treasure, and heroes and heroes-and-villains-themed Disney Destiny. Another ship sailing from Tokyo will also be Wish-class, bringing the class total to five, including the new Disney Believe.
The Grand Hall on the Disney Believe will offer a new immersive design with Moana, Pua and Heihei as the centerpiece and Polynesian-inspired finishes and craftsmanship reflecting the world of Motunui. The Disney Believe is also departing from tradition a bit with a Tinker Bell on the bow instead of Mickey or Minnie, while also featuring Woody and Buzz on the stern. Disney has also teased new one-of-a-kind venues and entertainment experiences, suggesting the ship will not simply be a rethemed version of the other Wish-class ships. The Disney Believe will set sail in late 2027.

However, the details regarding these new restaurants, lounges, adult spaces, and theater entertainment have not yet been revealed. The scavenger hunt onboard the Disney Wish had provided multiple teasers for these new experiences, which will be revealed during Disney’s official announcement tomorrow.
Before our scavenger hunt began, we heard from the Disney Signature Experiences President, Natacha Rafalski, who invited us onboard and shared news about the hull of the new Disney Believe ship coming together in Papenburg, Germany. She shared that a special coin was inserted into the hull for good luck, in accordance with Maritime tradition. The tradition dates back to Roman times.
We then started off with a scavenger hunt that led us to decode anagrams to reveal a specific word that then led us to our next clue.
Here’s an example of what two of the clues looked like. They spoke in riddles to direct us where to head on the ship.
Eventually, we ended up at The Bayou lounge, where a new drink was revealed. The drink chalice was the Evil Queen’s face and was smoking. This hint tells us that there could be a place on the Disney Believe either paying tribute to Snow White or the Evil Queen specifically with this themed drink.
While we were finding our clue, other invited media, influencers, and travel agents were going through different stations. Others found different drinks. We believe that each one provides some clue of what is coming on the new ship. No names or ingredients were given for any of the drinks.
What is interesting about all the clues is that they are not just repeating the movies and characters Disney already announced. We’re now seeing Tangled, Inside Out, The Little Mermaid, Snow White, Jiminy Cricket, and potentially Princess and the Frog showing up in the hunt, alongside the previously confirmed Moana, Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, and The Little Mermaid.
We also received a pin from this pack of pins which lines up with some of the characters we’e seen in the scavenger hunt and also adds in more possibilities.
We have actually been tasting the new Believe food and beverages as well. Aside from the Evil Queen apple mocktail we tasted, others have also tried a Little Mermaid-inspired drink, a bubble-topped gin cocktail, and a new ice cream flavor.
Last night, to end the night, we came home to a towel animal made out of a green towel that many believe to be Pascal from Tangled. The consistent hints to Tangled are something that we are curious about because these clues feel more deliberate and could potentially point to a new venue concept inspired by Tangled.
On day two, we have been teased with different clues related to Frozen and Tangled. We started off by meeting Rapunzel in the kids club, who gave us our first clue, and then we decoded some artwork in one of the stairwells and then in the 1923 restaurant.
Now, we checked in with Oaken, and he gave us a BINGO game that will lead participants through some of the cruise’s best activities. Some of these include the Incredicourse, Aquamouse, trivia, crafts, and more.
Guests can tune in for a special livestream on October 7, 2026, at 4:30 PM ET, when these new details about Disney Believe will be revealed. This includes the ship’s homeport, itineraries, and entertainment, many of which are being teased in this scavenger hunt.
