The after-hours special event features trick-or-treating, low wait times for rides, and exclusive character appearances, including Yzma from The Emperor’s New Groove for the first time this year.

The biggest change for 2026’s Oogie Boogie Bash is the removal of the Frightfully Fun Parade. Disney California Adventure can’t currently perform parades due to construction of the upcoming Coco ride and Avengers Campus expansion. In place of the Frightfully Fun Parade, the park will instead present Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party. We expect this production to have fewer floats than a full parade and to stop in the street to perform for an extended period rather than flowing in a continuous procession through the park.
Disney annually offers the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party as an add-on experience for guests’ evening at Oogie Boogie Bash. For an extra price on top of their party ticket, guests can enjoy light refreshments and reserved seating for a show. Typically, Disney theme park dessert parties are paired with fireworks viewing, but since Oogie Boogie Bash doesn’t have fireworks or even a World of Color show, its dessert party previously provided reserved viewing for the Frightfully Fun Parade. Now that the parade is no more, the 2026 dessert party will come with reserved viewing for Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake.

The marked location for 2026’s Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party on the Disneyland website and app may indicate the performance area for Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake, which hasn’t been formally revealed. The website and app display the dessert party’s reserved viewing location as in front of Sonoma Terrace, near the intersection of the Performance Corridor and the San Fransokyo Square bridge, just across from the entrance to The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure.
Below, we list the full menu for the 2026 Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party, including what’s new for this year and what’s gone from before.
