Disney Planning Special Celebration for New Cruise Announcement
Disney Cruise Line has just revealed a special event that will give fans a closer look at what’s coming to its newest ship while also celebrating the stories that inspired it. The Disney Believe is the newest ship in the fleet and the fourth ship in the Wish class. This new ship is set to debut in late 2026 and will feature new dining, entertainment, and lounges inspired by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and other stories.
The Wish class ships feature their own unique design themes that shape the stories, experiences, décor, and entertainment. The sister ships of the Disney Believe include the enchantment-themed Disney Wish, adventure-themed Disney Treasure, and heroes and villains-themed Disney Destiny.

Disney has said that the overall theme of the Disney Believe is “promise and possibilities” as it celebrates characters who dare to dream and believe in themselves. Past teasers for the ship have included hints at inspiration drawn from popular films like Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, Moana, and The Little Mermaid.
Disney has revealed that guests can tune in for a special livestream on October 7 when new details about Disney Believe will be revealed. In the teaser, Disney said that Disney Believe is “inspired by promise, possibility, and what lies beyond the horizon.”
For guests who want to be even closer to the action of this new announcement, Disney Cruise Line sent out emails announcing that guests sailing aboard the Disney Wish on the October 5-9 sailing will be included in the celebration. The 4-night sailing is a Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian cruise departing from Port Canaveral, with October 7 being the same day that the ship is docked at Disney’s private island Castaway Cay.
The celebration of the Disney Believe reveal will include a one-night stage show showcasing the new experiences coming to Disney Believe. The “Broadway Star Series” performance will feature Disney Legend Susan Egan and other Broadway stars who will “bring the spirit of the new ship to life” through the stories and music that have inspired its onboard spaces. Each stateroom on the cruise will also receive a commemorative gift to mark the special occasion.
