Disneyland Hit With More Price Increases Ahead of Expected Ticket Hikes

Just weeks after Disneyland raised prices on hundreds of quick-service items across the resort, another round of price increases has arrived, this time primarily affecting table-service restaurants. Many menu items increased in price, with alcoholic drinks reaching a new, higher median price plus a price hike on popular dessert snack items.

Disneyland Continues Wave of Price Increases

Each summer Disneyland traditionally raises its food and beverage prices, with last year’s Disneyland food increase also happening in July. Once the summer price adjustment for food and beverages takes place, it’s typically followed by a more expansive price increase in the fall. Two weeks ago, we saw the first round of price increases impacting quick service food items, including common items guests order most, like soda beverages, popcorn, churros, and more. Now that the food price increases have begun, it’s time to also think about the upcoming annual price increase that has historically raised ticket prices, Magic Key pass prices, and other admission products like Lightning Lane Multi Pass and parking.

In 2025, the Disneyland ticket price increase happened on October 8 and took effect immediately. The increase affected Disneyland tickets, Park Hopper add-ons, Magic Key passes, and standard parking. While Disneyland does not announce a ticket price increase in advance, the annual food and beverage price hike has become a reliable sign that a ticket increase will follow. Here’s a look at the ticket price increases over the past decade for the 1-day ticket prices.

This second round of Disneyland food price increases impacted 13 table-service restaurants, lounges, and bars across both theme parks and the resort hotels, with 291 menu items receiving price changes. The average price increase was about 6.5%, with the typical item increasing by $1. Many changes impacted the price of alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, and premium spirit pours, while food items saw some of the largest dollar increases, with typical entrées rising by about $2 to $3. Guests will notice the biggest impact through higher costs for table service meals, which include some of the most popular dining experiences at the resort like the Princess character dining.

A Disneyland spokesperson shared with us that they aim to take a balanced, thoughtful approach to their pricing strategy. They shared that they did not make any changes to kids’ offerings beyond the character dining. This includes kids meals at Quick Service or Table Service Restaurant locations.

Let’s get into all the data on this most recent food and beverage price increase and see which restaurants are the most impacted.

Disneyland Raises Prices at 13 Major Restaurants

Multiple popular restaurants were impacted by this price increase, with increases happening at 13 restaurants and lounges across the theme parks and resort hotels.

For Disneyland theme park restaurants, the price increases varied by location, with River Belle Terrace seeing the highest average increase at 9.5%, followed by Café Orleans at 9.2%, Blue Bayou Restaurant at 9.0%, and Oga’s Cantina at 4.1%.

Over in Disney California Adventure, Magic Key Terrace and Carthay Circle Lounge and Restaurant saw the highest average increases in this theme park at 7.3%, Lamplight Lounge and Boardwalk Dining at 6.6%, and Wine Country Trattoria at 5.3%. It’s worth noting that Wine Country Trattoria was also the only restaurant to see three price reductions. The price reductions include the Red Sangria and White Sangria, which both dropped from $13.50 to $12.50 while the Aperol Spritz decreased from $22 to $21.

As for the Disney Resort hotels, the price increases were varied, with Hearthstone Lounge seeing the highest average increase at 9.1%, followed by Broken Spell Lounge at 5.5%, Mendocino Terrace at 5.2%, GCH Craftsman Bar at 5.1%, and Palm Breeze Bar at 4.9%. However, the average increase at GCH Craftsman Bar was among the lowest, despite having the largest number of repriced items at these locations with 57 changes. So in that case, the volume of price changes did not necessarily correspond to the size of the price increase.

One popular character dining experiences also saw a price increase. The Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose increased from $149 to $152 per guest.

So which items saw the largest increases at these restaurants? Entrées were some of the largest dollar increases in this most recent round of food price increases, with 73 menu items increasing by a median of $2. Most of the table service entrées rose by $2 to $3, though some individual items saw larger jumps. The largest price jumps we noticed are the Roasted Chicken and Market Fish at Blue Bayou Restaurant, which both increased by $4.

We did see a noticeable trend across the board when it comes to alcoholic beverages. Generally, the median bar drink price increased from $20 to $21. For example, the number of bar drinks priced at $20 or more increased from 77 to 118, meaning 41 drinks crossed the $20 threshold in this round of increases. Most cocktails saw an average $1 increase, but Lamplight Lounge saw two major drink increases. The popular Cinnamon Toast Cocktail at Lamplight Lounge increased from $19.25 to $22. One particular draft beer at this popular lounge also saw a large single increase, with the Latitude 33 Brewing Blood Orange IPA increasing from $12 to $15.75.

The bar drink prices at Carthay Circle Lounge and Restaurant also provide an example of how higher cocktail prices are becoming more common, with three cocktails, the Double Pear Martini, Tequila Daisy, and Aviation Cocktail, increasing from $22.25 to $24.

We also saw price increases for non-alcoholic beverages that impacted coffee, tea, and hot cocoa, which increased from $4.75 to $5.50 at Blue Bayou, Café Orleans, River Belle Terrace, and Carthay Circle. Other individual increases were a bit more sporadic, with the Heimlich Chew Chew Juice at Magic Key Terrace increasing from $7 to $8.25 and bottled sodas at Mendocino Terrace rising from $5.25 to $5.50.

Disneyland also raised prices on some of the most popular dessert treats with 42 items receiving a price increase. This change impacts cake pops, cupcakes, cereal treats, caramel apples, cookies, and candy, with an average increase of 9.5%. The median price increase was $1 per item but the largest increases were a $1.70 increase for both Milk Chocolate Peanut Clusters and Peanut Brittle.
