The Disney Fairy Tale Wedding Dress Collection
The Disney Fairy Tale Weddings bridal collection is a collaboration between Disney and Allure Bridals. The line features Disney-inspired wedding gowns featuring subtle nods to iconic characters, especially the Disney Princesses, rather than costume-style recreations. The design elements aim to reflect each character's story and aesthetic. This collection first debuted in 2020 and has expanded each year with new designs inspired by beloved Disney Princesses and other popular characters.

Since I am planning a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding onboard the Disney Wish, I wanted to go out of my way to try on the official Disney wedding gowns as part of my wedding dress shopping experience. And this is what caught me off guard: most stores do not carry these gowns.
The dresses are only sold through authorized Allure Bridals retailers, and not every boutique carries the Disney collection or every style. Many shops stock only a handful of sample gowns, and some premium collections are available through very few retailers, making certain dresses difficult to find and try on.
Finding the specific dress you want often requires traveling to an authorized retailer, ordering a sample to the boutique, or making the tough choice to purchase it without ever trying it on first.
Disney Wedding Dresses Are Surprisingly Affordable
I was surprised at how far I had to travel to try on the Disney Fairy Tale Wedding dresses. In fact, only one store in my state of Colorado carried these gowns! The easiest way to find your nearest bridal boutique carrying the gowns is to go on the official Fairy Tale Wedding website and search for a retailer near you. These dresses are worth the travel because the details are truly immaculate, like the beading on this Jasmine-inspired dress pictured above.
Luckily for me, my closest retailer, The Bridal Collection, had a great selection of Disney Fairy Tale Weddings gowns available to try on, including plenty of sample sizes. They even had the Belle gown from the 2026 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings 35th Anniversary Collection, shown above! This was a fan-favorite dress amongst my group. It even had pockets! This is such a beautiful tribute to Belle's iconic yellow gown from the film.
The best news about these dresses? Many gowns start as low as $1,500, which surprises many brides with how attainable the pricing can be compared to other luxury designer gowns. More elaborate or Platinum designs can go up to several thousand dollars, but many of the gowns I tried on were less than $3,000. Even this stunning Cinderella gown with a blue tint was around $2,500, which stunned my group. This was another group favorite! You can see how this gown pays homage to Cinderella with its beading and sparkly design.
One of the most affordable gowns I tried on was this Pocahontas dress with tonal appliquéd leaves and flowers. This gown was so stunning and featured such a subtle tribute to this Disney character. And the best part? It was only $1,600, making it one of the most affordable dresses I tried on.

While these dresses are beautiful, many states only have a few retailers that carry the collection, and even those boutiques often have a limited selection of samples available to try on. Brides hoping to find their perfect Disney wedding dress may need to make a trip to another city.
Thankfully, my own adventure to find a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding dress only required one trip. I found my dream gown during my visit, and it was especially lucky because it was one I had already fallen in love with online. It was such a relief to see that my local retailer carried the dress I had been hoping for. To keep my own wedding dress a surprise, I won't be posting photos of the one I picked just yet!
