This lineup of new Disneyland and Walt Disney World popcorn buckets joins the other release of Star Wars novelties, with many still available in both parks. Seasonal releases of popcorn buckets often tie into popular film releases and anniversaries, so it makes sense to see these new popcorn buckets added ahead of the summer season.
Popcorn buckets do sell out, and restocks are not always guaranteed, as we saw with the popular Pixar Pal-A-Round popcorn bucket that sold out fast as part of the Disney California Adventure 25th anniversary. Another recent popular release was the King Arthur Carrousel popcorn bucket that spins and lights up, exclusively for Magic Key holders. The bucket, designed by Disney artist Ashley Taylor, spins, lights up, and plays music.
