Jellyrolls Opening New Location Close to Disney World

The former dueling piano bar at Disney’s BoardWalk location has now officially announced its reopening plans at a new location. Jellyrolls permanently closed on April 19, 2025, much to the dismay of Disney World guests who loved the unique entertainment at this spot. The plan has always been for this popular dueling piano bar to reopen at a new location outside of Walt Disney World rather than permanently close.
Officials from Jellyrolls shared with the Orlando Sentinel that they have a new location planned in Lake Buena Vista, which is just about ten minutes away from its former BoardWalk location. They also shared that construction is already underway, and they are targeting an opening date sometime from late summer to early fall.

The new Jellyrolls location will remain ages 21+ with their signature specialty cocktails and popcorn returning. Even with the age restriction remaining in place, the entertainment will continue to follow relatively clean standards, avoiding overly sexual or violent songs. Scotty Kilwein, director of entertainment, said, “We’re not going to change our standards. We want everyone to feel comfortable.”

Relocating to this new space has also allowed the owners to upgrade sound and lighting technology, along with introducing a new stage designed to better center the live performance experience. According to Kilwein, the room is being built to prioritize the show, improving conditions for performers and helping the audience feel more connected to the experience. If you compare that idea to the previous Jellyrolls space, the venue was relatively small and dark, highlighting how significant an upgrade this new design will be.
While Jellyrolls officials have not shared the exact address, a Lake Buena Vista location is so close that it’s essentially still within the Walt Disney World area in terms of travel time. The spot will offer free parking along with an area for rideshare drop-off and pick-up right at the front entrance, making it easy to get to for Disney World guests. This will also be an improvement over its BoardWalk location, which wasn’t the easiest to travel to for guests not staying nearby at Disney World resort hotels.
