New Spider-Man E-Ticket Ride Coming to Marvel Land at HK Disneyland

Disney just revealed new concept art for a thrilling new Spider-Man attraction in development! This was first announced during last year's D23 Expo, and now, Disney has revealed another new look at this really interesting ride addition.

This ride is coming to the Marvel area in Hong Kong Disneyland, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary today. New Concept Art for Spider-Man Ride

Today, Hong Kong Disneyland shared new concept art for its upcoming Spider-Man ride that will be an expansion of Stark Expo, the Marvel-themed area in the park. In the caption, they wrote, “Team up with the Avengers for an unexpected adventure in the thrilling new Marvel-themed experience – only at Hong Kong Disneyland!”

In the original announcement of the ride at D23, Disney shared details about the storyline: “Tony Stark has invited his friend, and new Stark Industries intern, Peter Parker to showcase some new inventions, but unfortunately, that also means this has also caught the attention of one of Spidey’s most formidable villains. While trying to help Spider-Man protect the new tech, guests are caught in the middle of the action!”

Here is a new look at the exterior of the new attraction. Based on all of the concept art revealed thus far, it looks like the new experience will be a drop ride, like Tower of Terror and Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout. We already love the Marvel reimagining at Disney California Adventure, so we know this ride format works well for an action-packed superhero storyline.

And here is the new concept art for the ride experience, featuring Black Panther, Dr. Strange, and Thor.

We know from the original concept art shared by Disney that the “formidable villain” in the ride is Doctor Octopus. You can see that concept art below.

This news comes as construction is also underway for Disney California Adventure's Avengers Campus expansion, which will double the size of the land with two new rides.
