New Celebrity Chef Run Restaurant Coming to Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is getting a brand new restaurant run by a celebrity chef at one of its most popular hotels. The dining options at Walt Disney World, especially at the resort hotels, are some of the best in the theme park industry.

This new restaurant will replace a fan favorite amongst Disney adults but there will still be time to enjoy it before it is replaced. Keep reading for all the details on this new restaurant.

New Restaurant Coming to Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin is opening its newest celebrity chef restaurant run by Michael Mina called Bourbon Steak.

Michael Mina is a James Beard Award-Winning chef and the restaurant will bring its “modern take on the quintessential American steakhouse” with premium cuts of beef and seafood all inspired by global flavors. Mina's culinary philosophy focuses on product, technique and presentation which will all be showcased at Bourbon Steak. The menu will also feature signature desserts and world-class beverage offerings.

Bourbon Steak will replace Shulu's Steakhouse in the Walt Disney World Dolphin. Shulu's Steakhouse will take reservations through June 14, 2025. The opening date for Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina is expected by mid-summer 2025.
