1. Elio
Disney and Pixar's most recent film, Elio, was released on Disney+ in September and has risen to the top of the most-watched list. This new story follows young space fanatic Elio, who is pulled into an adventure when he is mistakenly identified as Earth’s leader. The film has a unique premise, fun story, and touching moments that make it, in our opinion, the best original Pixar movie since Coco.
2. Lilo & Stitch
The live-action Lilo & Stitch is the next most-watched movie in Disney+'s top 7 list. The film was a major box office hit and has been popular on Disney+ since its release on the streaming platform in early September. The new live-action film effectively captures the humor and heart of the beloved original and has helped push the characters to the top of the licensing list for Disney. Its status on this list is unsurprising, as it's a wholesome and fun must-watch film for families.

Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas is a Halloween (and holiday) classic that currently sits at the #3 spot on the list of most-watched Disney+ films as we approach Halloween. The film follows the Pumpkin King Jack Skellington, who attempts to take over Christmas.
The film has gathered a cult following over the years and has a strong presence at Disneyland in particular, with the park's Haunted Mansion transforming into a Nightmare Before Christmas overlay for nearly half the year and much of the Halloween entertainment and merchandise centering around the characters of this favorite story.
4. Hocus Pocus
Another Halloween classic is Hocus Pocus, a film in which a trio of 300-year-old witches is accidentally brought back from 17th-century Salem, seeking to cast a spell on the town to reclaim their lives and youth. This nostalgic film is a must-watch for many families as Halloween approaches!
5. Incredibles 2
Both of the Incredibles movies have held a spot in the list of the most-watched films on Disney+ over the past couple of months. The release of Fantastic Four: First Steps this summer, with its plot centered around a super family, is likely a big reason for this, along with the announcement of the upcoming Incredibles 3 film at D23 in August. This popular sequel, released fourteen years after the original, is one of Disney's highest-grossing animated films.
6. The Incredibles
Following just behind the sequel is the original The Incredibles, which still holds strong in the top 7 list on Disney+ as we are reaching the end of October. This fan-favorite film follows the Parr family as they are pulled from their civilian lives back into their superhero spotlight years after their glory days. The film has garnered a new wave of attention following Marvel's most recent superhero release and remains a beloved Pixar classic nearly 21 years after its release.
7. Thunderbolts

Last but not least, Thunderbolts stays in Disney+'s top 7 after its streaming release in late August 2025. While the film underperformed at the box office, it was met with generally positive reviews upon its debut and has been very popular on Disney+ since it started streaming on the platform. The film follows an unexpected team of antiheroes comprised of Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker. The team encounters a surprising new power that they must face.
To any Marvel fans who are hesitant to give Thunderbolts a chance, I would say it is definitely worth a watch on Disney+. The film shows some promising signs of Marvel starting to break the mold and embrace a unique angle of storytelling.
