New Disneyland Popcorn Bucket Coming This Month Featuring Iconic Movie

Popcorn buckets at Disneyland and Disney World are some of the most popular novelty items to purchase at the theme parks. The demand for some of these popcorn buckets has been legendary, attracting resellers and causing giant lines around the parks.

A popular popcorn bucket that first appeared at Disney World is now making its Disneyland debut. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including the planned April ride closures and news about a popular piano bar reopening after a year-long closure.

The Monsters, Inc. Scream Canister Bucket is coming to Disney California Adventure! This popular popcorn bucket will be available at select locations across Disney California Adventure beginning April 9th.

There are no other specifics quite yet on where this popcorn bucket will be available yet, but it’s likely to include the popcorn carts inside the park.

This same popcorn bucket made its debut already at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World. This popcorn bucket lights up and makes a screaming noise. At Disney World, it has retailed for $28, so that price will likely be similar at Disneyland.

If the popcorn bucket is available at locations that support mobile order, Disney may implement a similar restriction requiring guests to be physically inside the theme park to place a mobile order, as we saw with the rollout of the new Bluey novelties at Disneyland. This prevented guests from creating mobile orders until they were actually in the park and near the quick-service restaurant. This was considered a big effort towards cracking down on resellers, which we could see happening again here.

More Disneyland Popcorn Buckets Available Now

Bluey themed sipper at Disneyland

Speaking of the Bluey novelties, the sipper and popcorn bucket released in honor of the new Bluey show, “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” have been very popular items at Disneyland. You can find the Bluey sipper for $22.49 at Troubadour Tavern in Disneyland Park. This item debuted as part of other seasonal theme park items for the Bluey show.

You can also find this Bluey popcorn bucket for $15.25, and it can be found at these popcorn carts around Disneyland: near Fantasyland Theatre, small world Promenade, near Central Plaza, and near City Hall.

As for other April Disneyland popcorn buckets, another current seasonal option is the Easter popcorn bucket, which is available for $25. This popcorn bucket will likely be removed after Easter, but sometimes seasonal holiday buckets stick around a bit longer if there is stock available. This popcorn bucket features Piglet popping out of the Easter egg Winnie the Pooh is holding, and can be found at popcorn carts in both theme parks.
