Disneyland Attractions Closing for Refurbishment

Two attractions are closing for refurbishment at the end of the month: Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin and the Disneyland Monorail. Both will close on March 30, making March 29 the last day to experience these before their respective closures. As of right now, neither attraction has received a reopening date.

Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin is a fan favorite, classic Disney-style dark ride in Mickey's Toontown. This closure has the potential to pull crowds looking for Roger Rabbit into other attractions in Toontown. There might be higher standby wait times for rides such as Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. This closure has been scheduled for a little while, so it is assumed to be for general maintenance.

The Monorail is a popular transportation option that many guests take advantage of to get between Tomorrowland and the Downtown Disney District. So be sure to plan your transportation accordingly. Again, since this was a scheduled closure, it is likely for general maintenance on the attraction.

Other Scheduled Spring Disneyland Refurbishments

Also closed alongside those two rides in Disneyland Park is the Jungle Cruise. This iconic ride has been closed since February 17 and still does not have a reopening date. According to the Disneyland calendar, it is scheduled to be closed into May. This was originally supposed to be a quick refurbishment, but it has since been extended quite far.

Future closures include Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, which will be closing on April 13. The last day to ride will be April 12. There is no official reopening date listed.

Pirates of the Caribbean and Blue Bayou Restaurant will close together on May 4, so if you plan on dining at the restaurant or taking this classic boat ride, be sure to do so before it closes! The last day to experience these will be May 3. Like everything else on this list, there has not been an opening date revealed for either.
