Four New Hoppers Experiences At Disneyland

The new Disney and Pixar movie, Hoppers, will be released on March 6. It follows Mabel, an environmental activist, who uses brand new technology to transfer her consciousness into a robotic beaver and speak with animals. This gives her the chance to join forces with the animals and help them save their habitats from human destruction.
With the fantastic message of conservation, it only makes sense that Disneyland would want to showcase this movie across the resort. Here are the four new experiences and attractions coming to Disneyland that are inspired by the film!
Mabel’s Seek & Find at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
First, there is a new challenge to complete at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. The new Hoppers experience, Mabel’s Seek & Find at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, is a map-guided adventure full of different challenges. After a successful completion, guests receive a sticker with one of the Hoppers characters as a prize, and they also get to keep the map.

Parts of this attraction were recently under construction, but, as first reported by WDWNT, the bridge in Redwood Creek Challenge Trail has recently reopened after month-long construction to repair some of the bridge’s paneling. Redwood Creek Challenge Trail will also offer other challenges throughout the year, such as Cliff Hanger Traverse Rock Climb, Hoot n’ Holler Log Slides, Sequoia Smokejumpers Training Tower, and The Spirit Cave.
New Animation Academy Classes
A new Hoppers-themed experience will take place at Animation Academy at Disney California Adventure. Under the guidance of an expert animator, guests can learn to draw one of the characters from Hoppers, such as Mabel, King George, or Tom Lizard. After this class, guests will get their own drawing as a one of a kind souvenir. Classes run every 30 minutes, and no reservation is required.
PhotoPass Magic Shots at Disney California Adventure
A new PhotoPass Magic Shots opportunity will debut at Disney California Adventure, where Hoppers characters will magically join you in your photos. This opportunity can be found with select photographers at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and in front of the Hyperion Theater. Be sure to check your digital downloads after visiting the photographers to see which characters will be there!
Art Gallery at Pixar Place Hotel
Lastly, Pixar Place Hotel will hold a new art gallery on the second floor lobby. It will showcase the early artwork from the film, like initial concept art, character sketches, and character maquettes. This art gallery will be a great way to see how the creators of Hoppers first visualized the movie, and to see how the final product took shape.
Apart from these new experiences, there is some new Hoppers merchandise being released. This includes T-shirts with the characters, children’s books, sticker books, stuffed animals, a Funko Pop! figurine, and more. Be sure to pick up some new merch, and check out these offerings at Disneyland!
