The first major step towards the Fortnite Disney universe that Epic Games and The Walt Disney Company announced in 2024 is now here.
For the first time, the Disney Parks will be featured in Fortnite with a brand new game to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Disneyland. At Mickey Visit, we report on all the recent Disney news, including the new bar opening at an iconic Disney World hotel and the Disneyland Christmas popcorn buckets.

Disneyland Game Rush Brings Disney Parks to Fortnite

In 2024, Disney invested $1.5 billion for an equity stake in Epic Games, which will result in a collaboration to create a new entertainment universe that will allow consumers to engage with new Disney experiences in Fortnite. The first major step towards that goal of a Disney and Fortnite interconnected universe has been taken, as the Disney Parks will now become featured in Fortnite for the first time.
Disneyland Game Rush is a limited-time free experience in Fortnite that officially launches on November 6. Players can simply search for the game title or jump in using the island code, 4617-4819-8826, to experience this new game.

The hub of the Disneyland Game Rush is inspired by the esplanade between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, which includes the very same 70th anniversary castle structure in the middle of it. In the background, you can see iconic Disney Parks landmarks like Pixar Pier, the Matterhorn, Sleeping Beauty Castle, and the Haunted Mansion.

The game features in-game “presents” that are inspired by Disney attractions and nighttime spectaculars. You can also participate in Disneyland trivia to earn game points!
One fun Easter egg is the ability to find a Disneyland Key in each land, and then you can redeem it for themed cosmetics to attach to your characters. This is like a video game version of the real-life Disneyland Key scavenger hunt in Disneyland for the 70th anniversary.
Guests can also play mini-games themed to different Disney Parks attractions and earn tokens to trade in for more island-exclusive Disneyland-inspired cosmetics. Some of the options available include Mickey Ears, a Spider-Bot hat, and a Hatbox Ghost Backpack.
Disneyland Fortnite Mini-Games

There are seven mini-games in Disneyland Game Rush:
- Disney Haunted Mansion: Scavenger Haunt
- Matterhorn: Slip-and-Climb
- Space Mountain: Rocket Race
- Indiana Jones: Tomb Runner
- Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Sneakout!
- Star Wars: Stormtrooper Showdown
- WEB Slingers: Spider-Bot Blaster

These mini-games can be completed with up to 11 players, so they can be done as adventures with friends or other players in the game. Each mini-game pays homage to the attraction that inspired it as it transports players into these attractions. The screenshots Disney provided for the game show players walking through the iconic Haunted Mansion dining room or roaming around the Temple of the Forbidden Eye in Indiana Jones Adventure.
Sorry Kids, No Battle Royale on Main Street

This Disneyland-inspired island is not to be confused with a location for a new Battle Royale, though! You won’t be seeing players exploding buildings on Main Street, U.S.A., or hurling popcorn carts at each other in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Battle Royale experiences are a last-player-standing game where 100 players parachute onto a themed island and fight to survive by scavenging for resources, building structures to hide in, and, of course, defeating the other players.
This is NOT the same as that type of Fortnite gameplay experience. Disneyland Game Rush is a far more structured and cooperative experience that aims to be extremely family-friendly.
