Disneyland Cutting Hours For Private Hotel Theme Park Entrance

Staying onsite at a Disneyland Resort Hotel comes with a variety of special perks. Beyond the ability to stay immersed in the Disney bubble, guests can enjoy benefits like Early Entry, preferred access to hotel dining reservations, and more.

One of the best perks of staying onsite for guests is the ability to access exclusive entrances to Disney California Adventure. There are two private entrances to the park for hotel guests, one through Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and another through a walkway across the street from Pixar Place Hotel.

There has recently been a change implemented for the Pixar Place Hotel entrance and when guests will be able to use it. Keep reading for more details!

Disneyland recently changed the hours for the Pixar Place Hotel entrance to Disney California Adventure. Based on when guests use the hotel entrance most, Disneyland has made some adjustments as this gate is most commonly utilized in the morning. The gate was rarely crowded after a morning rush coming from the hotel and it was a nice option to pop in and out of.

The hours for the Pixar Place Hotel entrance have been reduced and are now from the park's opening to noon every day. Guests can still exit through this spot but there will be no entry after noon. A Disneyland Resort spokesperson confirmed this change.

This is one of the top Disney California Adventure hacks we like to utilize. This change is a little disappointing for those staying at the hotel, especially families with younger kids, who may be planning to leave for a mid-day break and re-enter. That said, it probably doesn't dramatically impact a very large group of people and those people can pretty easily re-route into the other Disney's Grand Californian park entrance.

We're a little bit surprised to see this change because of how much it has been talked up as part of the set of hotel perks for the recently renovated Pixar Place Hotel. This new hotel is a rethemed version of the preexisting Paradise Pier Hotel.

Outside of the Pixar Place Hotel entrance operating hours, Pixar Place guests can still enter the park through the park entrance into Disney California Adventure from Disney's Grand Californian. All Disneyland Resort Hotel Guest room keys work to open the gate on the walking path at the front of Disney's Grand Californian.
