Walt Disney World Releases Christmas Discounts Including FREE Dining Card

Walt Disney World has its next set of discounts for the rest of the year which includes the popular holiday season.

This news comes on the heels of the announcements for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets and Jollywood Nights tickets along with the dates for the entire Disney World Christmas season. This is the perfect time to start planning your holiday trip!

Walt Disney World Room Discount + FREE Dining Card Offer

The main discount released for the holiday season is the room-only discount which includes a free dining fit card if you book a package including park tickets. Here's the full break down of the discount:

Save up to 20% on rooms at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels, valid for stays most Sunday to Thursday nights from October 12 to November 20, 2025; and most nights from November 23 to December 25, 2025.

If you upgrade your room only stay to include discounted 4-day or longer standard theme park tickets, you’ll get a Walt Disney World Resort Dining & Shopping Promo Card included with your package. The value of your card depends on the Resort category:

• $100 promo card for packages at Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resort hotels
• $75 promo card for packages at Disney Moderate Resort hotels
• $50 promo card for packages at Disney Value Resort hotels

The digital Walt Disney World Resort Dining & Shopping Promo Card is redeemable at select participating food, beverage and merchandise locations at the Walt Disney World Resort. Card expires and is not valid for use after January 8, 2026.

Offer excludes the following room types: Campsites, 3-Bedroom Grand Villas, Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and Bungalows and 2-Bedroom Penthouse Polynesian Tower Rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

Is This a Good Walt Disney World Discount?

Currently, this is the best Walt Disney World discount being offered for the holiday season for guests that aren't annual passholders or locals. This will be your best bet for a strong Disney World hotel discount during the Christmas season. Considering the high prices of hotels this time of year, you want to take advantage of all the discounts you can!

I do think the free dining card is worth taking advantage of if you already plan on purchasing 4-day Walt Disney World tickets. But if your plan is to purchase a ticket type less than that then I wouldn't feel pressured to book that additional time just to receive this card. Consider it a nice perk if you already planned on spending that many days at the theme parks.

Walt Disney World Annual Passholder Holiday Discount

Annual passholders can also take advantage of Resort hotel room-only discounts through Christmas with up to 30% off. This discount is valid for stays on the following dates:

• Most Sunday to Thursday nights from October 12 to November 20, 2025
• Most nights from November 23 to December 25, 2025

Annual Passholders must present a valid Walt Disney World AP at check-in. Additional per-adult charges may apply if more than 2 adults per room at Value, Moderate and Deluxe Resorts and Studios at Deluxe Villa Resorts. Maximum length of stay under this deal is 14 nights.

Walt Disney World Florida & Georgia Resident BIG Savings

This holiday season's resident discount applies to both Florida and Georgia residents with room-only discounts of up to 50% off through Christmas. This is the biggest discount out of all those released for the holiday season so if you're a local, this one is for you!

Here is the full discount offer which is valid for stays most nights from November 16 to November 29, 2025; and December 12 to December 25, 2025:

• $129 Per Night, Plus Tax for Standard Rooms at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
• $199 Per Night, Plus Tax for Preferred Rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
• $299 Per Night, Plus Tax for The Lion King Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
• $319 Per Night, Plus Tax for Deluxe Studios at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
• $429 Per Night, Plus Tax for Savanna View Rooms at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
• $449 Per Night, Plus Tax for Resort View Rooms at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

Both offers exclude the following room types: 3-Bedroom Villas, Resort View Rooms at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Standard View and Standard View – 5th Sleeper at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and Little Mermaid Standard Rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.

This is a great deal, the best of all the discounts, for Florida and Georgia residents for the holiday season.
