Swift will be debuting two major projects on the streaming platform later, so Swifties had better make sure their Disney+ subscriptions are activated to tune in.

Taylor Swift Announces Two Disney+ Projects

Two new projects from Taylor Swift are coming to Disney+ to celebrate the record-breaking success of The Eras Tour, while also giving fans a closer look at the music, moments, and memories of this chapter in her career.
The first project is The End of an Era, a 6-episode docuseries that showcases the behind-the-scenes moments of the record-breaking The Eras Tour. The first two episodes of The End of an Era docuseries will release on Friday, December 12. The second set of two episodes will release on Friday, December 19, with the final two releasing on Friday, December 26. There is no specific time announced for the release, but new Disney+ additions typically release at 12 AM PT/3 AM ET.

Also releasing on Friday, December 12, will be the full concert film featuring The Tortured Poets Department for the first time.
The End of an Era Docuseries

The End of an Era will be a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries that will chronicle the development, impact, and inner workings that created the phenomenon that Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour.
The trailer showed glimpses of life on The Eras Tour, including learning the choreography, collaborating with other artists like Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch, plus a glimpse of Taylor's end-of-the-day routine. The trailer also reveals a look at Travis Kelce rehearsing his surprise cameo during the London show for The Tortured Poets Department set. We also see a look at Taylor in a recording studio, likely recording The Life of a Showgirl, which has debuted as the No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with a record-breaking 4.002 million album-equivalent units.
Taylor Swift announced the project on her social media platforms with the caption, “It was the End of an Era and we knew it, we wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”

Also releasing on December 12 is the Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, which is the footage of the final show that was filmed in Vancouver, B.C. The full concert film includes all the footage from that final night of The Eras Tour, including the entire set of The Tortured Poets Department, which was added to the tour following that album’s release in 2024.
Eagle-eyed Swifties noticed camera crews filming during that final show in Vancouver, so the rumors have been circulating for quite some time about both a new concert film and a docuseries.
