Although it is safe to assume that Disneyland will always be somewhat crowded, Disneyland has distinct periods of peak crowds and some slower days interspersed throughout the year. Knowing which dates to avoid (and which to book your trip during, if you have the flexibility) can make a big difference in how your trip goes.

Today, we’re taking a look back at the busiest days and the least crowded days of 2025 at Disneyland, based on wait time data. This is a helpful resource as you are trying to pinpoint when to plan your next trip! In the data below, we’re taking a look at the days of the year with the highest crowds and the lowest crowds (based on wait times data) beginning in December 2024 and ending at the beginning of December 2025. This data is based on average wait times and peak wait times.

We also recently took a look at the Disneyland rides that had the longest wait times and most downtime in 2025, and the top spots may surprise you.

Most of these busiest days of the year at Disneyland shouldn’t come as a surprise, as they are all during periods that we warn are peak crowds in our Mickey Visit Disneyland crowd calendar. These busiest days include several days during Spring Break in March, Presidents’ Day Weekend, and the stretch of time surrounding the holidays from late December into early January.

While you can still have a great trip during a time with peak crowds if you utilize a solid strategy, it’s worth noting these busiest days to avoid if you are considering when to plan your trip in 2026 for the lowest crowds.

Now, let’s take a look at the least busy dates from the past year according to wait time data. For this data set, we’re looking at the average wait, the top attraction, and the top wait time that day.

Most of these dates should not come as a surprise, as they align with what are typically the best times of year to visit Disneyland. This includes parts of February, September, and late August. We shared a look on our Instagram of one of the least crowded days we’ve ever experienced at the parks.

Lower crowds are a bit more difficult to predict than higher crowds, as there are many factors that may unexpectedly kick crowd levels up a notch during times that are expected to be slower. However, looking at the data below, you can see some consistency in the least crowded days of the year.
